The Bearings & Industrial Solutions division develops, manufactures, and distributes rotary and linear bearing solutions, drive components and systems for industrial automation sectors, and service solutions. The company has a strategic technology partnership with Hexagon Robotics for the development and supply of high-precision strain wave and planetary gear actuators. The company was formerly known as INA Beteiligungsgesellschaft mit beschränkter Haftung and changed its name to Schaeffler AG in October 2014.
