Step 1
Create a Green API instance and link your WhatsApp by scanning its QR code — or, for the lighter option, add the CallMeBot contact in WhatsApp and send its activation phrase to receive an API key.

Send form submissions to WhatsApp as lead alerts.

splitforms connects your forms to WhatsApp and moves every submission across the moment it's received — no manual export, no copy-paste.
Every submission is emailed to you and saved to a searchable dashboard, so the lead is captured even if WhatsApp is unreachable.
Connecting WhatsApp to your forms is included in your plan — no add-on charge and no per-message billing from splitforms.
Example: form markup
The form posts to https://splitforms.com/api/submit. The WhatsApp routing is configured in the splitforms dashboard against the form's access key — there's no client-side WhatsApp-specific code in your HTML.
<form action="https://splitforms.com/api/submit" method="POST">
<input type="hidden" name="access_key" value="YOUR_SPLITFORMS_KEY" />
<input type="email" name="email" placeholder="[email protected]" required />
<textarea name="message" placeholder="Your message" required></textarea>
<button type="submit">Send to WhatsApp</button>
</form>How it works
Here's how to send form submissions to WhatsApp in 5 steps — no code required, and most teams finish in a couple of minutes.
Create a Green API instance and link your WhatsApp by scanning its QR code — or, for the lighter option, add the CallMeBot contact in WhatsApp and send its activation phrase to receive an API key.
In SplitForms, open Dashboard -> Integrations -> WhatsApp.
Choose All forms to send every lead, or choose one form if only that form should notify WhatsApp.
Enter the Green API instance id and token plus the WhatsApp number (with country code) that should receive alerts — or, for CallMeBot, your number and its API key.
Send a test message, then submit your live form. SplitForms will send a compact lead summary to WhatsApp.
How teams use it
Connect Green API (recommended) or a CallMeBot API key and SplitForms pushes each new lead to WhatsApp automatically — one number for every form, or a different one per form. No WhatsApp Business setup or Zapier in between. Prefer a plainer destination? The same form can also send form submissions to email or forward them to any webhook.

Why splitforms
Most form tools need Zapier or an official WhatsApp provider; SplitForms connects Green API or CallMeBot directly on its paid plans. splitforms is free for 500 submissions (no card), then $5/mo on Pro (5,000/month) or $49/year on Annual (15,000/month), with no per-integration add-on fees.

How SplitForms works
splitforms receives the submission, filters spam, saves it to your dashboard and emails you — then, on paid plans, sends it on to your webhooks and integrations. No backend infrastructure to build.

Point your form to your unique SplitForms endpoint. That's it.

We instantly capture and organize every submission in your inbox.

Send data to email, spreadsheets, CRMs, webhooks, and 7,000+ apps.

No credit card required. Set up in under 60 seconds.
Connect & automate
On paid plans, submissions can also go to Slack, Discord, Google Sheets, Notion, Airtable, Zapier or any signed webhook — and splitforms works on the platforms you build on, from WordPress and Shopify to Next.js. With Stripe connected, your forms can take payments too.

Common questions
No. Green API links a regular WhatsApp account by QR code, and CallMeBot sends alerts to your own number after you activate its bot. For official business messaging from a verified business number, use the WhatsApp Cloud API or a provider such as Twilio through a webhook.
Yes. Choose All forms in the WhatsApp setup page and SplitForms will send a WhatsApp alert for every new submission across the account.
Not today. Both providers send to one WhatsApp phone number — the number you enter in the setup page. To alert several people, connect WhatsApp per form with a different number each, or point a signed webhook at an official provider (WhatsApp Cloud API, Twilio) that supports groups.
SplitForms sends a compact summary with the form name, the first submitted fields, and the source URL when available. Long field values are trimmed so the message stays readable on a phone.
The key is stored server-side as part of the saved WhatsApp destination, masked in the dashboard, and only used when sending the notification. Treat it like a password and rotate it with the provider if it leaks.
