Step 1
In the splitforms dashboard, open Integrations → Airtable and choose the scope: one form, or all forms on your account.
Integration · Airtable
Send form submissions to Airtable as records.

splitforms connects your forms to Airtable and moves every submission across the moment it's received — no manual export, no copy-paste.
Every submission is emailed to you and saved to a searchable dashboard, so the lead is captured even if Airtable is unreachable.
Connecting Airtable to your forms is included in your plan — no add-on charge and no per-message billing from splitforms.
Example: form markup
The form posts to https://splitforms.com/api/submit. The Airtable routing is configured in the splitforms dashboard against the form's access key — there's no client-side Airtable-specific code in your HTML.
<form action="https://splitforms.com/api/submit" method="POST">
<input type="hidden" name="access_key" value="YOUR_SPLITFORMS_KEY" />
<input type="email" name="email" placeholder="[email protected]" required />
<textarea name="message" placeholder="Your message" required></textarea>
<button type="submit">Send to Airtable</button>
</form>How it works
Here's how to send form submissions to Airtable in 5 steps — no code required, and most teams finish in a couple of minutes.
In the splitforms dashboard, open Integrations → Airtable and choose the scope: one form, or all forms on your account.
Click Connect and authorize splitforms through Airtable's OAuth screen, granting access to the base you want records to land in (splitforms needs 'create' or 'edit' permission on that base).
splitforms adds a 'SplitForms submissions' table to the base automatically, with starter fields for the submission, submitted date, form name, submission ID, referer, and IP.
Submit a test record from the dashboard, then submit the real form. New submissions append as a record within a couple of seconds, and any new form field gets its own column automatically the first time it appears.
Open the base any time from the integration page, or disconnect in one click — existing records are never touched.
How teams use it
splitforms has a native Airtable integration: authorize with OAuth, and splitforms creates a table in your base that gets a new record for every form submission in real time. No Personal Access Token to manage, no relay to deploy. Prefer a plainer destination? The same form can also send form submissions to email or forward them to any webhook.

Why splitforms
Zapier's Airtable action costs $20+/mo for multi-step Zaps; splitforms' native integration is included from Pro with no extra fee. splitforms is free for 500 submissions (no card), then $5/mo on Pro (5,000/month) or $49/year on Annual (15,000/month), with no per-integration add-on fees.

How SplitForms works
splitforms receives the submission, filters spam, saves it to your dashboard and emails you — then, on paid plans, sends it on to your webhooks and integrations. No backend infrastructure to build.

Point your form to your unique SplitForms endpoint. That's it.

We instantly capture and organize every submission in your inbox.

Send data to email, spreadsheets, CRMs, webhooks, and 7,000+ apps.

No credit card required. Set up in under 60 seconds.
Connect & automate
On paid plans, submissions can also go to Slack, Discord, Google Sheets, Notion, Airtable, Zapier or any signed webhook — and splitforms works on the platforms you build on, from WordPress and Shopify to Next.js. With Stripe connected, your forms can take payments too.

Common questions
It's native. Connect via Airtable's official OAuth flow once in the splitforms dashboard, and splitforms writes records directly through Airtable's API using tokens it manages and refreshes for you — no Personal Access Token to generate or store, and no relay function to deploy. If you need custom record shaping the native integration doesn't do, the manual PAT-plus-relay path documented in the deep-dive guide still works.
Airtable is included on the paid plans, with no per-record fee and no cap beyond your monthly submission limit: Pro is $5/month for 5,000 submissions a month, Annual is $49/year for 15,000 a month. Forms are unlimited.
During the OAuth consent screen you choose which base to share. splitforms requests data.records:write plus read/write access to base schema so it can create the submissions table and add new field columns as your form grows — it can only act on the base you explicitly grant.
No. Airtable issues short-lived access tokens (about an hour) with a longer-lived, rotating refresh token, and splitforms refreshes automatically in the background before each write. You only reconnect if you manually revoke access in Airtable or disconnect from splitforms.
splitforms creates the missing column automatically as a long-text field the first time a submission includes that field, so a record write never fails because of a schema mismatch.
Either. Connect Airtable with no form selected and every form on your account writes into the same base; connect it again scoped to a specific form and that form gets its own dedicated base and table instead.
Yes — splitforms also sends signed outbound webhooks, so if you need custom record shaping, linked-record lookups, or attachment handling beyond what the native integration does, you can point a webhook at your own relay that calls the Airtable API with a Personal Access Token. Most teams find the native one-click connection is enough; the manual route is there for advanced cases.
