Step 1
Talk to @BotFather in Telegram, run /newbot, and grab the bot token. Add the bot to the chat or group where you want submissions to land.

Send form submissions to Telegram as bot messages.

splitforms connects your forms to Telegram and moves every submission across the moment it's received — no manual export, no copy-paste.
Every submission is emailed to you and saved to a searchable dashboard, so the lead is captured even if Telegram is unreachable.
Connecting Telegram to your forms is included in your plan — no add-on charge and no per-message billing from splitforms.
Example: form markup
The form posts to https://splitforms.com/api/submit. The Telegram routing is configured in the splitforms dashboard against the form's access key — there's no client-side Telegram-specific code in your HTML.
<form action="https://splitforms.com/api/submit" method="POST">
<input type="hidden" name="access_key" value="YOUR_SPLITFORMS_KEY" />
<input type="email" name="email" placeholder="[email protected]" required />
<textarea name="message" placeholder="Your message" required></textarea>
<button type="submit">Send to Telegram</button>
</form>How it works
Here's how to send form submissions to Telegram in 5 steps — no code required, and most teams finish in a couple of minutes.
Talk to @BotFather in Telegram, run /newbot, and grab the bot token. Add the bot to the chat or group where you want submissions to land.
Send a message to the bot or group, then call https://api.telegram.org/bot<TOKEN>/getUpdates to find the chat ID.
In splitforms, open Dashboard → Integrations → Telegram, choose every form or one form, and paste the bot token and chat id.
Send a test message from the integration page, then submit the form. The Telegram bot should deliver the message within ~1-2 seconds.
splitforms formats each message for you: the form name in bold, then up to 12 fields as labelled lines, with the source page underneath.
How teams use it
Create a Telegram bot, paste its token and your chat id into splitforms, and every form submission arrives as a formatted Telegram message in your chat or group. No relay, no Zapier. Prefer a plainer destination? The same form can also send form submissions to email or forward them to any webhook.

Why splitforms
splitforms is free for 500 submissions (no card), then $5/mo on Pro (5,000/month) or $49/year on Annual (15,000/month), with no per-integration add-on fees.

How SplitForms works
splitforms receives the submission, filters spam, saves it to your dashboard and emails you — then, on paid plans, sends it on to your webhooks and integrations. No backend infrastructure to build.

Point your form to your unique SplitForms endpoint. That's it.

We instantly capture and organize every submission in your inbox.

Send data to email, spreadsheets, CRMs, webhooks, and 7,000+ apps.

No credit card required. Set up in under 60 seconds.
Connect & automate
On paid plans, submissions can also go to Slack, Discord, Google Sheets, Notion, Airtable, Zapier or any signed webhook — and splitforms works on the platforms you build on, from WordPress and Shopify to Next.js. With Stripe connected, your forms can take payments too.

Common questions
Yes. splitforms calls Telegram's Bot API sendMessage itself with the bot token and chat id you saved — there is no relay, Cloudflare Worker, or Zapier step to run. Values are escaped for Telegram's HTML formatting, so a submission can't break the message or inject markup.
The format is fixed today: a bold 'New submission · form name' header, up to 12 fields as labelled lines (long values trimmed at 500 characters), and the source page. If you need a fully custom message, point a signed splitforms webhook at your own small endpoint and call sendMessage from there.
Telegram is included on the paid plans: Pro ($5/month) and Annual ($49/year). There is no per-message fee.
Yes — add the bot to the group, then use the group's chat ID (which is a negative number) as the chat id in splitforms. The bot needs permission to send messages in the group.
splitforms keeps the token server-side and never exposes it to your site's visitors, but treat bot tokens as secrets anyway. If a token leaks, run /revoke on @BotFather to rotate it, then reconnect Telegram in splitforms with the new token. The leaked token is invalidated immediately.
Not as Telegram attachments today — the message carries the submitted fields. Uploaded files stay in splitforms storage with signed links in the dashboard and notification email; to push the files themselves into Telegram, point a signed webhook at your own endpoint and call sendDocument with the file URLs from the payload's files array.
