QuickMagic respects and protects your privacy. This Privacy Notice explains how we collect, use, retain, share, and protect personal data when you access or use the QuickMagic website, applications, AI features, APIs, and related services.

1. Personal Data We Collect ​

Depending on the features you use, we may collect the following categories of personal data.

Account Data ​

• username;
• email address;
• profile image;
• sign-in method;
• country or region; and
• company, team, and member information.

If you sign in through Google, Apple, or another third-party account, we may receive the account information that you authorize that provider to share. We do not receive your third-party account password.

Payment and Subscription Data ​

• plan and subscription status;
• order number;
• payment amount, currency, and date;
• renewal, refund, and payment status; and
• plan credits and usage records.

Full card numbers, payment account passwords, and similar payment credentials are generally processed by third-party payment providers and are not normally stored by us.

Uploaded and Generated Content ​

• videos, images, and photographs;
• faces, body movement, and pose information;
• audio and voice recordings;
• text prompts;
• 3D characters, models, and motion files;
• generated content, task results, and preview files; and
• file duration, frame rate, resolution, and related metadata.

Device and Usage Data ​

• IP address;
• browser and operating system;
• device type and language;
• login and page access records;
• feature and model usage;
• task status, error logs, and performance data;
• API request logs and security information; and
• information generated by cookies and similar technologies.

Customer Support Data ​

When you contact customer support, we may collect your emails, chat records, order information, task IDs, screenshots, and troubleshooting materials that you choose to provide.

2. How We Use Personal Data ​

We may use personal data to:

• register and manage accounts;
• verify identity and login status;
• process video, images, audio, text, and 3D files;
• generate motion, animation, Avatars, and other content;
• manage subscriptions, payments, and credits;
• store, preview, and export user assets;
• provide APIs and team features;
• respond to customer inquiries and troubleshoot issues;
• maintain service reliability and security;
• prevent fraud, infringement, and abuse;
• analyze and improve product performance;
• send order, security, service, and policy notices;
• send marketing communications with your consent; and
• comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

3. Faces, Voices, and Other Sensitive Data ​

Content you upload may contain faces, voices, body characteristics, motion trajectories, or other sensitive personal data.

We process this data only as needed to provide the feature you choose, such as:

• motion capture;
• face swapping;
• Avatar and character animation;
• image or video generation;
• voice-driven content; and
• content safety screening.

You may not upload or process another person’s face, voice, private video, or other personal data without authorization. We do not use this data to build an identity-recognition database unless we clearly state otherwise and obtain any required authorization.

4. AI Models and Human Access ​

QuickMagic uses automated systems and AI models to process user-submitted content.

Unless you separately and expressly consent, we will not use your private uploaded content to train general-purpose AI models made available to other users.

Authorized personnel or service providers may access relevant data only when necessary to:

• provide customer support at your request;
• resolve technical failures;
• investigate security, fraud, infringement, or abuse;
• comply with legal obligations; or
• support quality improvement where you have expressly agreed.

5. Sharing Personal Data ​

We do not sell your personal data.

To provide the Services, we may share necessary data with:

• cloud computing, storage, and content delivery providers;
• AI model and technical service providers;
• payment and tax service providers;
• login and authentication providers;
• email, customer support, analytics, and security providers; and
• lawyers, accountants, and other professional advisers.

These providers may process data only to the extent necessary to perform their services. We may also disclose data when required by law, a court, or a regulatory authority, or where reasonably necessary to protect users, the public, or the legitimate interests of QuickMagic. If QuickMagic is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or transfer of business, relevant data may be transferred as part of that transaction and will remain subject to applicable law and this Notice.

6. Cross-Border Processing ​

QuickMagic serves users globally.

Your data may be processed by servers, related services, and technology providers located in Hong Kong or other countries and regions.

We take reasonable measures required by applicable law to protect cross-border transfers, including limiting processing purposes, using data protection agreements, and applying appropriate security safeguards.

7. Data Retention ​

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, perform our contracts, maintain security, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations.

The specific retention period for uploaded content and generated assets is shown on the relevant account, product, or pricing pages.

When a retention period ends, we delete, anonymize, or otherwise appropriately dispose of personal data that is no longer required, unless continued retention is required by law.

QuickMagic is not a permanent file storage or backup service. You should download and back up important content.

8. Cookies ​

We may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to:

• keep you signed in;
• remember language and interface settings;
• protect account and payment security;
• analyze website performance;
• measure feature usage; and
• improve the user experience.

You can manage these preferences through your browser or cookie settings. Disabling essential cookies may affect certain features.

9. Data Security ​

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including access controls, protections for data in transit, security monitoring, and employee access management.

No internet transmission or electronic storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

If a security incident is likely to materially affect users, we will take remedial action and provide any notices required by applicable law.

10. Your Rights ​

Subject to applicable law, you may request to:

• access personal data we hold about you;
• correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
• delete data that is no longer required;
• withdraw consent;
• close your account;
• unsubscribe from marketing communications; and
• raise questions or complaints about our handling of personal data.

We may need to verify your identity before processing a request. Some data may not be deleted immediately because of order records, financial requirements, security investigations, or other legal obligations.

11. Minors ​

Minors should use QuickMagic only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

A user may not upload or process a minor’s face, voice, video, or other personal data without authorization from the minor’s guardian.

If we learn that we collected a minor’s personal data without appropriate authorization, we will investigate and take appropriate steps to delete or restrict the data.

12. Third-Party Services ​

QuickMagic may contain links to third-party websites, payment pages, login services, or software platforms.

Third parties have their own terms and privacy policies, and we do not control their data practices. You should review those policies before submitting data to a third party.

Applications built using the QuickMagic API are independently operated by their developers, who are responsible for their own privacy and data handling practices.

13. Changes to this Privacy Notice ​

We may update this Notice to reflect product, technical, legal, or business changes.

If we make material changes, we will notify you through a website notice, email, account notification, or another reasonable method.
