Do I need a Statly account to use the extension?
No. You can run free scans directly in Chrome without creating a Statly account. Sign in only when you want web-app features, higher limits or team access.
What is the difference between the extension and the web app?
The extension runs on-demand scans while you browse. The web app automatically scans saved Instagram, TikTok and YouTube profiles on your schedule, even when your browser is closed.
Is the full extension included with the web app?
Yes. Every paid web-app plan includes unlimited Audit, Compare and Merge access in the Chrome extension at no extra cost. Full access begins on your first paid day.
Can Statly track accounts while my browser is closed?
The extension cannot because it only scans when you run it. The web app automatically tracks your saved profiles on Statly's servers, even when your browser is closed.
Do I need to share my social media password?
No. Statly never asks for or stores your social media password. The extension reads the public information visible on the pages you choose to scan.
Is using Statly safe for my account?
Statly does not post, message, follow, like or otherwise act on your behalf. It only analyzes public information from the profiles you choose to scan.
