What is the
Statly API?

The Statly API is read-only access to your Statly workspace. The research you see in the web app, from your niches and tracked accounts to every video’s outlier score, is available to your own code.

It never starts a scan: it reads what Statly’s daily scan has already collected. Statly MCP gives AI assistants the same read-only access, so Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor can answer questions about your data in plain English.

Your whole workspace,
read-only.

Workspace

Your workspace, the starting point for every request.

Niches

The niches you use to group the accounts you follow.

Tracked accounts

Every public Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and X account you track.

Videos, posts and outlier scores

Each tracked video or post with its numbers and its outlier score against the account’s usual results.

Top sounds

The top sounds across the videos you track.

Library

The videos you have saved to your Library.

Three steps,
start to finish.

01

Create a key

In the Statly app, open Settings > API & MCP and create an API key.

02

Send it with each request

Add the key as a header: Authorization: Bearer YOUR_KEY

03

Read your data

Call the endpoints in the documentation. Each workspace can make 60 calls a minute and 10,000 a day.

Or ask your
AI assistant.

Connect Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor with this address:

https://mcp.trystatly.com/mcp

Sign in with Statly and press Allow. Your assistant can read one workspace and can’t change anything. It can also look at post thumbnails.

Step-by-step setup for each assistant is in the app, under Settings > API & MCP. More about Statly MCP
