Your trip on a map, day by day

Ask Sochen for the best places to see and it plans them day by day on a map beside the chat, with Google Maps ratings, opening hours and travel times. Each day gets its own colour and route, in the order to visit.

How it works

  1. 1

    Say where and how long

“The 6 best places to see in Jaipur, in a 2-day order.” Add what you like: forts, food, markets.
  2. 2

    See it on the map

Every stop pinned, each day its own route, with ratings and opening hours from Google Maps.
  3. 3

    Tweak it in words

“Swap day 2 for the lake side.” “Add a vegetarian dinner near the last stop.”

What people plan with it

  • Weekend getaways

Two days, a handful of places, in an order that doesn't zigzag across the city.

  • Food trails

The best-rated places for a dish, near where you'll be, open when you'll be there.

  • Family trips

Fewer stops a day, shorter drives, and places that suit everyone.

  • Commute and timing

How long each leg takes with traffic, so the plan fits the day.

Questions

What does a plan cost?+
A 6-place, 2-day plan on the map is about 15 credits: each place looked up on Google Maps is about 3. New accounts start with a 7-day trial of Plus for $5.
Where do the places come from?+
Google Maps: names, ratings and how many people rated them, whether they're open now, phone numbers and links.
Can it plan around timings?+
Yes. Ask for an order that fits opening hours, or how long it takes to get from one place to the next with traffic.
Can it book hotels or tickets?+
It finds options and gives you their own links or phone numbers. Bookings with payments or logins happen in your own apps, or on Sochen's computer with you approving each step.
Does it work outside India?+
Yes. It uses Google Maps, so any city works.
