How it gets under the limit

Upload portals for exams, scholarships, banks and visas usually want one PDF under a size cap, often 100 KB, 200 KB or 500 KB. Phone photos are several megabytes each, so they get rejected.

Add your photos (or PDFs), put them in the order the form asks for, and pick the cap. The tool builds the PDF at the sharpest setting first and steps down only until the whole file fits, so text stays as readable as the limit allows. If nothing fits, you get the smallest version it could make, with its size shown.

Clean up photos of paper turns a grey, shadowed page into white with dark text, which also makes the file smaller. Pages can be A4, Letter, or the same shape as each photo.

Questions

Are my documents uploaded anywhere?+
No. Everything happens in your browser, on your device. Nothing is sent to Sochen or anyone else.
The portal says 200 KB and my PDF is 201 KB. What now?+
Pick the next size down, like 100 KB, or turn on the clean-up option: a white page with dark text compresses much smaller.
Can I change the page order?+
Yes. Use the arrows next to each page to move it up or down before you make the PDF.
Is there a page or file limit?+
No sign-up and no daily limit. Very many pages under a small cap will look softer, since each page gets a smaller share of the size.
