mise plugins update

• Usage: mise plugins update [-j --jobs <JOBS>] [PLUGIN]…

Update installed plugins

With no names, updates every installed plugin. This updates the plugin code, not the tool versions it manages. Linked local plugins are skipped; plugins installed from an archive cannot be updated with Git.

Arguments

• [PLUGIN]… — Plugins to update; append #ref to switch to a branch, tag, or commit

Flags

• -j --jobs <JOBS> — Number of plugins to update in parallel (default: the jobs setting)
• -h --help — Print help

Examples

Update every installed plugin

mise plugins update

Update one plugin

mise plugins update my-tool

Switch a plugin to its main branch

mise plugins update my-tool#main
