Use Cryptominium from anywhere

Everything Cryptominium measures is public. Assistants can call it directly, and code can read it as JSON. No key, no account, no cost — cite Cryptominium and link the measurement.

Show the exit figure in your product

The exit figure is what a $100,000 sell of a token actually returned on-chain, measured daily on Base, Ethereum and BNB Chain — not the quoted price, the dollars that came back. A wallet, portfolio tracker, tax tool, explorer or research site can show it beside a holding. It is free: no key, no account, no sign-up.

1. API

One token on one chain, as JSON. Open to any origin (CORS), so a browser can call it directly.

curl https://cryptominium.com/exit/base/aerodrome-finance?format=json

Use friction_label (the share lost, rounded as we print it), received_usd, measured (the date), url and citation. Every token we measure, with its {chain}/{token} pair: /exit?format=json.

2. Embed

A small card in an iframe: the figure, its date and a link back. No script, no cookies.

<iframe src="https://cryptominium.com/embed/exit/base/aerodrome-finance" width="360" height="210" style="border:0" loading="lazy" title="AERO exit cost on Base — measured by Cryptominium"></iframe>

3. Badge

A 20-pixel SVG for a README, docs or a token’s own site: AERO exit cost badge

<a href="https://cryptominium.com/exit/base/aerodrome-finance"><img src="https://cryptominium.com/badge/exit/base/aerodrome-finance.svg" alt="AERO exit cost on Base — measured by Cryptominium"></a>

The credit that comes with it

Wherever the figure appears, show Measured by Cryptominium, linked to the token’s measurement page (the url field). The card and the badge carry it already; with the API, add it yourself:

<a href="https://cryptominium.com/exit/base/aerodrome-finance">Measured by Cryptominium</a>

Keep the date beside the figure, and link to the measurement, never to a swap or a buy button. The figure updates as we re-measure, so no token keeps a good number after a bad week, and it is the same for every token: a measurement, not a rating or a seal of approval.

How to cite

In an article, a report or an answer, one sentence with the date and the link:

Cite a measurement

Selling $100,000 of {TOKEN} on {chain} costs {x}% — measured {date} by Cryptominium. {link to the measurement}

Selling $100,000 of AERO on Base costs less than 0.1% — measured 15 Oct 2026 by Cryptominium. https://cryptominium.com/exit/base/aerodrome-finance

Every JSON record also carries a citation field, and every exit page a Cite this measurement line. The figure is one day’s measurement, so please keep its date.

MCP server

A remote Model Context Protocol server, so Claude, ChatGPT and other assistants can ask Cryptominium instead of paraphrasing a page they once read.

Server URL: https://cryptominium.com/mcp
Transport: Streamable HTTP. Authentication: none — every tool reads public data.

In Claude: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, and paste the URL above. Any client that speaks MCP over HTTP works the same way.

Tools

All read-only. None can trade, swap, route an order, connect a wallet or ask for a signature.

exit_cost — What selling a token really returns
Cryptominium measures, every day, what a fixed-size sell of each tracked token actually returns versus its quoted price, by querying live DEX routing on Base, Ethereum and BNB Chain. Use this when someone asks whether a token can really be sold, how liquid it is, or what they would get for a position. Returns the latest measured exit friction (% lost to price impact), the dollars received, the date measured, and a citation — plus, where the token trades on Kraken or Coinbase, what the same sell loses against those order books, and this week's changes as short tags with the 7-day high, low and latest price. Not a price feed and not advice.
coin_profile — CM Profile: what is known about a coin, and what is not
The Cryptominium Profile (CM Profile) of a tracked coin, in four fixed groups: what Cryptominium has established (contracts matched, chains), what it has measured (the cost of selling on-chain and on exchange order books, with dates; price history), what it has written with sources (what the coin can do and through which company), and what it has not established. Use this when someone asks what is known about a coin, how well documented it is, or whether it depends on a company. Each line links to its evidence. Also returns this week's changes as short tags and the 7-day high, low and latest price, as the coin page chart marks them. A record, not a rating: it is not a view on whether to hold the coin.
powermap — PowerMap: who holds power over a coin
Cryptominium's PowerMap: which company or group holds which of nine powers over a coin (freeze, pause, mint, redeem, custody, govern, validate, pay out, bridge), each repeating that party's own terms with a link and a date, plus on-chain readings of mint and freeze authority. Answers questions about a coin ("USDC"), a company ("Circle"), or a class of coins ("which stablecoins can be frozen"), and says what is not established. It records who can use a power, not whether they will.
exit_index — The monthly Exit-Friction Index
The Cryptominium Exit-Friction Index: each month, the median share of value lost when selling a fixed $100,000 position across every token with a live on-chain market, with quartiles and the share of tokens losing more than half. Use for questions about overall crypto market liquidity or how hard it is to exit altcoins. Optional month as YYYY-MM; defaults to the latest.
identify_address — What a crypto address is
Identifies a public address or ENS name without being told what it is: wallet or contract, which of seven EVM chains it has been active on (read: Base, Ethereum, BNB Chain; identified: Arbitrum, Polygon, Optimism, Avalanche), EIP-7702 delegation, the token if it is one Cryptominium tracks. Bitcoin addresses are checksum-verified and read; Solana accounts are identified (wallet, mint, token account, program). The address is not stored. A recovery phrase or private key is refused without being looked up.
explain_transaction — What a transaction did
Reads an EVM transaction hash on Base, Ethereum or BNB Chain from its receipt logs: whether it succeeded, what moved to and from whom (with token symbols and decimals), what it cost in fees, and any token approvals it granted or revoked, including unlimited ones. The hash is not stored.
what_is — What a crypto word means
Cryptominium's hand-written crypto library: what a crypto, blockchain, trading or crypto-technology term means in plain English, what it means in practice for someone holding or sending crypto, how it works, a common misconception, and the primary source it was checked against with the date. For ideas such as "code is law" or "sound money", the strongest case for and against, each sourced. Accepts a term ("impermanent loss"), a question ("what is an NFT"), two terms to contrast ("proof of work vs proof of stake") or a topic ("defi terms"). Written ahead of time, not generated.
search — Search Cryptominium
Cryptominium's crypto search: says what a query is (ticker, address, transaction, comparison, a question about selling a position, a directory category…) and returns the matching coins and Cryptominium pages. Use it to find the right Cryptominium page for a crypto question.

What happens to what you send

An address, name or transaction hash is used to answer the call and then dropped — the same rule as the search box on this site. We record which tool was called and what kind of input it was (for example “an EVM address”), never the input itself. A recovery phrase or private key is refused before anything is looked up, and never logged. Calls are rate-limited per connection using a salted hash kept for two days. Full detail in the privacy policy.

JSON feeds

Free to quote and to build on. Please cite Cryptominium and link the measurement — every record carries a citation field in the form we would like it quoted. How each number is produced: methodology.

The rule that comes with the data

The measurements are not for sale and not for adjusting. No project can pay to change its number, and a figure you display should be the one we published, with its date. If you think one is wrong, tell us — we would rather correct a number than defend it.

Measurements, not advice. Nothing here recommends buying, selling or holding anything.
