Britney Spears has made the wild claim that she is 'moving to Mexico' amid a vacation to the country to celebrate her 43rd birthday - after becoming legally single.
Spears was seen jetting off for the occasion earlier this week and sparked concern as she appeared to bring a grill lighter onboard a private plane.
She then took to Instagram to post playful videos to fans where she joked that she was only turning 5-years-old, and that she was planning to relocate from her home in Los Angeles.
Later, the troubled pop star treated her followers to yet another dance, dressed in skimpy bright red underwear and a black lace top.
However, a source told PEOPLE that the pop star's trip was merely for her birthday rather than a fresh start outside of the US.

'She loves Mexico and can't wait to celebrate in the sun,' the insider added.
Britney headed to Mexico 'with friends' on a private jet, according to the source.
The princess of pop shared a playful Instagram video on her birthday, knocking off a year of her real age and also pretending to be five years old: ''It's my birthday. I'm not turning 42 this year, I'm turning five years old, and I have to go to kindergarten tomorrow.'
Earlier in the day, Britney gave her social media followers a behind-the-scenes look at her birthday celebrations, revealing that she was enjoying 'delicious wine' before having dinner.
The pop star subsequently took to Instagram to reveal that she had a 'very cute' birthday cake that was topped with chocolate lattice and strawberries.
Her birthday festivities come the same day as she was declared legally single - seven months after finalizing her divorce from Sam Asghari.
Britney and Sam, 30, previously had a prenup before walking down the aisle in June 2022.
He filed for divorce in August 2023.
The pop star previously took to social media to admit that she was 'a little shocked' about their break-up.
Britney wrote on Instagram at the time: 'As everyone knows, Hesam and I are no longer together.
Adding: 'Six years is a long time to be with someone so, I'm a little shocked but … I'm not here to explain why because it's honestly nobody's business. But, I couldn't take the pain any more, honestly.'
