What terrible service from DHL again. I had to go out for the day and asked the neighbor if he wanted to receive it. "Yes, sure, I'll be sitting outside anyway." But a little later I get a message saying the delivery driver stopped by and was going to put the package in the pickup locker the next day but closed next day. Well, the delivery driver didn't even come by, and no delivery driver is visible on the camera footage either. Don't try to embarrass people, because that only leads to negative reviews.

This has been one of the worst delivery experiences I have ever had.
DHL claimed that my delivery address was incorrect or incomplete, but the address shown in the tracking information is exactly the address I provided. I have received multiple DHL and other courier shipments at this same address without any problems.
I contacted DHL several times to explain that this is a professional mail forwarding company with staff available to receive parcels. I also requested a solution, but instead of resolving the issue, my shipment was simply placed on hold.
It appears that no genuine effort was made to complete the delivery or provide a practical solution. The handling of this shipment was extremely poor, customer service was ineffective, and the entire process has caused unnecessary delays, stress, and the real possibility of my shipment being returned to the sender.
For a global logistics company, this level of service is unacceptable. I expected professionalism, but instead experienced poor communication, lack of accountability, and an inability to solve a straightforward delivery issue.
I sincerely hope DHL improves its delivery procedures and ensures that couriers make reasonable delivery attempts instead of leaving customers to deal with avoidable problems.

I returned an item to Underarmour via DHL where it was received by them. Since then nothing - it appears to be lost and DHL does not respond to emails.

All the time deliveries by DHL go wrong. Not once did it go well. They put packages in front of my door on the sidewalk, at 23.30 hrs. while I was home. I get messages not home but I am home, sitting next to the door.

I was supposed to receive my parcel today between 17:30 and 21:30.
Then, at around 18:00, the tracking suddenly updated to say that DHL had “missed” me and that my parcel was being sent to a service point. This is simply not true. Nobody came to the door, nobody rang the bell, and there was no attempt whatsoever to deliver the parcel.
What is even more frustrating is that when I tried to find out which service point my parcel was sent to, there was no useful information available.
It is very clear that the driver either did not want to complete the delivery or was trying to save time by skipping the address altogether. Why offer delivery time slots if customers are expected to wait at home while DHL does not even attempt to deliver?
currency conversion error
DHL made a massive customs clearance error on my shipment (Waybill: 3626599480). The shipper invoiced the item in UAE Dirhams (15,325 AED), but DHL’s brokers negligently submitted it to U.S. Customs as $15,325 USD. This resulted in an absurd $1,600+ duty bill for a $4,170 camera. I have emailed proof of purchase to duty_disputes (at) dhl.com, but the automated phone system repeatedly hangs up on me. I need a corporate escalation agent to process this Post Clearance Modification immediately and release my package.
Had my package deliver in a box
Had my package deliver in a box. I never received a code to open it. Contacted dhl, got a chatbox to ask for a new code. Got back that my email was incorrect (was not!!) and that they made a case to investigate.
Never heard from them until my package was picked up for return to sender.
Contacted dhl again, this time chatted tot a person, sho said there was never a case made.
She ended the chat without hesitation and help!

big lie... they didn't come by here... there wasn't a note with ''sorry we missed you" in my mailbox... it happens often that they go straight to the pick-up point... because that is easier for them... but that is not the intention because I paid for home delivery
there is no logic in this... why can't they just take it to the ServicePoint on the same day instead of 1 day later...instead of the next day.. then I would have minded it less, ..because it is literally across from my house...
So that means I have to wait 1 day longer... well, actually 2 days, because there was a delay...
Many people have this problem too, meaning this is not the first time and it won't be the last.

I had the option to change new delivery time and could choose to have it delivered home the next day instead of picking it up.... let's hope they do their job properly this time...

I had a package coming with DHL
I had a package coming with DHL. DHL kept me posted of when my package would arrive. I then received a delivery notification but did not receive the package. The delivery was to come to my shop in krommenie and I was open all day. It never arrived and DHL are not helping look for it. It was not delivered and it has simply disappeared. No further customer support communication nothing, so disappointed.

I had a very disappointing experience at Sigma Success in Bussum.
On my way to an important business meeting, I stopped by the store to send an urgent document via DHL. The employee was unfriendly and told me he couldn’t help because he didn’t have a printer. He insisted that I should have printed the shipping label before coming to the store, so I had no choice but to go back home.
Because the document was extremely time-sensitive, I even canceled my business meeting to deal with the situation. Once I logged into the DHL website at home, I discovered that what I had been told was simply not true. DHL gave me a QR code, which is all that was needed for the store to print the shipping label.
I returned to the store with the QR code, and suddenly the employee had a working printer and was able to process the shipment without any issue.
The whole experience wasted a significant amount of my time, caused me to miss an important business meeting, and could have been avoided if I had been given accurate information from the start. Whether the employee didn’t want to help, the result: poor customer service, misleading information, and a complete lack of professionalism. I would not recommend this location

DHL is worst courier
DHL is, by far, the worst courier company I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with, and this isn't based on a single bad delivery—it's a pattern that has repeated itself over and over again.
Time after time, they falsely claim that nobody was home when multiple people were actually at home waiting for the package. Instead of making a genuine delivery attempt, they eventually dump the parcel at a service point several days later, forcing you to waste your own time collecting something you already paid to have delivered to your door.
On other occasions, they've simply left packages unattended outside my front door without my permission, completely disregarding the risk of theft or damage. It's careless, irresponsible, and unacceptable.
And if you think customer service will help, think again. You're trapped in an endless loop with a useless chatbot that seems designed to prevent you from ever speaking to a real person or getting your problem resolved.
Based on my repeated experiences, DHL's delivery updates cannot be trusted. "Recipient not at home" has become little more than a convenient excuse. Customers pay for home delivery, not for excuses, delays, and trips to a pickup point because the courier couldn't be bothered to complete the job.
Consumer protection organizations should take a serious look at the number of complaints against this company and whether these practices are widespread. Based on my experience, I would avoid DHL whenever there is any alternative.

Worst ever. They don't care about their customers at all. they hate them so much that they have no contact phone number. they just let you know : at this date you need to cancel all you appointments and stay at home all day because we could be there any time, and if you are not there, we will let you collect your parcel , that is too big to fit in your car, in another city far away. I had two shipments from Huawei last month. Despite me being at home, DHL’s delivery staff never attempted delivery. Instead, they took both packages to a collection point far from my residence.
Filing a complaint was a complete waste of time. There was no response, no accountability, and no resolution. Then DHL did exactly the same thing with my second package.
To make matters worse, the online tracking was barely updated, leaving me with little idea where my package actually was.
For a company that charges premium prices, the service is appalling. DHL seems to make little effort to complete deliveries or help customers when things go wrong.

Yet another pathetic service delivery experience with DHL in the Netherlands. It is as if this company's only aim and vision is to be exceedingly useless. How difficult is it to just simply keep to a basic commitment to deliver a parcel given that you require the recipient to stay put and at home for an unspecified 4 hour window? And when this window expires the insipid DHL App, which I can only imagine has been built to reflect the uselessness to which this firm aspires, continues to reflect that the parcel will be delivered in a time window that has expired. I suppose the only thing that is more infuriating than DHL's incomparably poor service is that online retailers continue to use this company.

Update: package was out for delivery and is now saying that it will come tomorrow instead. What’s the point of continuously giving dates and not respecting them?
