Failure of delivery of parcel

I have been waiting for a parcel to be delivered and for the last five days I have been advised the package is out for delivery and every evening I am informed that parcel has been returned to depot as unable to deliver. DPD never answer my emails, the supplier keeps telling me that they have requested the parcel to be delivered asap. I ordered through Amazon and they keep telling me to contact the supplier. Nobody seems to want to take responsibility for resolving this problem.

SHITTY COMPANY

Been waiting the whole day for my parcel. I was literally sitting at the door! running to the door when I hear a the engine of a car/van. Around 6 pm Delivery guy finally came, rang the doorbell, I ran fast to the door, he was in his van less than 2 seconds, he had droped the parcel at the door and was in his van less than 2 seconds whilse I was right at the door. I stood at the door looking at him fumbling with his phone, he looked at me and drove off. What about if some package thieves came to steal it. This is the third time this has happened to me with this company. A real shitty company.

Got the email that package is coming in…

Got the email that package is coming in an hour. After 20 minutes, got the 2nd email. That we missed you and the package is going to the sorting center. While I am at home waiting. Tried to call them. After a long wait. Call was ended and I was asked to give the feed back about how did the person helped me on the phone.

IS DPD TEAMING UP TO SCAM CUSTOMERS?

I bought an item that was shipped from China using DPD service where the postage charge depended on the parcel's weight.
The shipping documentation or receipt stated the parcel weighed 27 kg.
I believed that was incorrect and disputed it.
When the parcel arrived, I took the unopened (or the packaging) to the local post office, where it was weighed at 6.5 kg.
What upsets me is that DPD labelled it as 10 kg!
So the same box has 3 different weights and there shouldn't have been any discrepancy between the weight of DPD and that of the post office!

DO NOT USE DPD!!

I FREAKING HATE DPD IF I CAN BOICOT THEM I WILL! DO NOT USE THEM THEY ARE BANDITS
Eigenlijk 0 sterren.

1] i selected that the parcel needed to go to a pickup point.
2] no update for 5 days. (Went from sorted to again sorted to ready for delivery to sorted again). Very confusing.
3] called the service line. They couldnt tell me what was up and didnt even check the status. Just told me that i was impatent and i should wait more. Very rude.
4] at 10 they sent me an email stating that they where going to deliver the parcle..... How the freak does DPD expect people to do this. Like should i drop everything and go home again...

Ohw yeah they went out for delivery to my home adress..... Against what i told and got email conformation for which was the by me seleceted parcle point.

5] i was not home..... Ofc i wasnt common DPD you should known.

6] they deliverd to my parcle point.... Nooooo ofc not THEY BROUGHT IT TO THE OTHER SIDE OF TOWN!!!!!!!

The package was not delivered because…

The package was not delivered because "There was no space at the package point", I called, there was nothing they could do. The status of the package changed 5 hours after I called to ask about it, where I was informed it would be delivered next day at the latest. It was returned to sender and getting a refund was very difficult.

Title DPD Lost My Parcel — No Explanation, No Recovery

I ordered a set of books from Patronomia, which were shipped through DPD. The parcel was lost and never recovered. DPD provided no useful explanation or trace information, leaving both me and the sender without any clarity on what happened.

Because of this failure, Patronomia had to reprint the entire order and chose BPOST for the new shipment. BPOST delivered on 13/07/2026 quickly and without any issues.

Based on this experience, I consider DPD unreliable. Their communication was unhelpful, the parcel was never found, and the sender had to absorb the cost of reprinting. I hope Patronomia continues using BPOST instead — they solved the problem immediately.

Missing Package

I had given the delivery driver permission to leave the package, with specific instructions. The driver didn't followed my instructions, causing my package to go missing. Fortunately, I eventually found my package a day later.

Customer service told me that they aren't liable if a package goes missing or is stolen if the customer has given permission to leave it behind.

I find it ridiculous that DPD isn't liable, even though the driver didn't followed my instructions at all.

DPD is a useless delivery company

DPD is one of the most useless delivery companies I have ever experienced. There has been no update on my parcel for more than a week, and even the merchant has been unable to get any response from customer service. You have better chances of winning the lottery than actually receiving your parcel from this company.

I am extremely disappointed with the…

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from DPD. My parcel was repeatedly delayed, and I kept receiving promises that it would be delivered "today," only for nothing to happen. There was no clear communication, no accurate delivery time, and no accountability.

As a customer, I expected reliable service, especially since I had to stay home waiting for the delivery. Instead, I was left frustrated and inconvenienced by broken promises and poor customer service.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend DPD. They need to improve their communication, provide accurate delivery estimates, and start honoring the commitments they make to customers.

Aso bezorger

This company hires awful people. One of their drivers almost ran me and my dog over, it was his fault for not checking his side-mirrors. Yet i’m the one getting screamed at and being called a “k*twijf” by their driver.
Teach your drivers some manners and apparently driving lessons.

I give them no stars if I could I…

I give them no stars if I could I bought a chest freezer from currys it came damaged I called Currys to get it picked up they got DpD to collect it and waited in for them to turn up and they can’t be bothered to come and get it and I give them step by step instructions to get to my flat and a baby can do a better job. I have to call Currys 5 times to rebook the delivery and all the same result no show this company needs to pull there heads out of there assess or close down it won’t be missed 😡🤬😡🤬🤬

My HORRIFIC experience with DPD

My experience with DPD, was horrific.

I ordered a new PC from PCSpecialist for the box to arrive like it had played 90 minutes in the World Cup, and the box was the ball. On opening the box, the PC was damaged and dented, as well as the parts hanging off. PC Specialist, agreed, with no issue to replace it, for the next box to be in a worse state than the 1st one.

The delivery driver could not have cared less, argued the point it “was not him” and even swore at me. If you want your package delivered, in a timely manner, and without damage, I suggest you DONT use DPD.

If i could give 0 i would
Not only do DPD rewrite the boundary of UK regions they cant even stick to their own timelines

I live 86 miles from the highlands ,but apparently im a resident of the highlands .

And the " garenteed 48hr delivery " is now 3 days

My heart sinks when I see them as the delivery people .
I even had a delivery with a £15 " surcharge " after making the order and paying for it

1★ – Even one star is far too generous.

This has been one of the worst delivery experiences I have ever had. The tracking system keeps saying "your package will be delivered today" day after day, but nothing ever arrives. It is completely misleading and impossible to trust.

I honestly cannot understand why Amazon continues to work with such an unreliable company. Customers are left waiting with no accurate information and no accountability. If you cannot deliver on time, at least provide honest tracking updates instead of giving false expectations every single day.

To all sellers: please do not use DPD. Your customers will end up frustrated, disappointed, and inconvenienced because of their poor service.

Even one star is far too generous.
