LinkIntel is an MCP server that gives your AI assistant evidence for its next social post. It measures your own recent X posts once you connect X, and stores public X posts you choose as optional references, each with source links. Your assistant reads both back as a cited content brief. It never publishes and never searches X on its own.
Add https://www.getlinkintel.com/api/mcp as a remote MCP server. In Claude Code, run: claude mcp add -s user --transport http linkintel https://www.getlinkintel.com/api/mcp. In Claude.ai or Claude Desktop, open Settings, then Connectors, then Add custom connector. OAuth 2.1 handles Google sign-in and checkout in your browser; clients without OAuth use a bearer token from /setup.
$39 USD a month, billed monthly in advance, with no free trial. That covers the MCP server, content briefs and reference lookups, which are never charged per post. Fair use applies: up to 100 post lookups a day and 1,000 a month per account. Full refund within 7 days of your first payment. Cancel anytime; access runs to the end of the period you paid for.
Yes, if you choose to. Connect X from your account page, or from the link your assistant offers after setup. Once a day LinkIntel reads your recent original posts and their metrics, and stores snapshots your assistant can cite. It never asks for your X password, never posts, and never searches X on its own. Disconnect at any time and the stored snapshots are deleted.
Two sources. Once you connect X, your own recent original posts and their metrics, read daily and stored as snapshots. Optionally, public data for the X posts you supplied as references, grouped under the topic and reference group you named. Each reference keeps its source URL and capture time so an assistant can explain what informed a suggestion.
No. LinkIntel only reads. It has no publishing capability and does not post, comment, react, message or follow for you.
No. Selected examples can help your assistant suggest an angle to test, but their observed public reach does not predict your reach or prove that a writing choice caused an outcome.
Nothing extra. Looking up public posts, whether you hand your assistant the links or ask it to pull an account's recent posts, is included in the $39 with no per-post charge. Every lookup costs us real money at X, so it runs on fair use: up to 100 post lookups a day and 1,000 a month per account, far more than a normal week of writing needs. References you have already stored are reused and never count twice. In short, use it for your own writing and you will never notice the limits; if an account is clearly being used to pull X data in bulk, we will slow it down and get in touch.
It can add references, because that is how you use LinkIntel without touching a dashboard, but only posts you hand it or a list you have agreed to. It cannot search X, and asking for a brief never triggers a lookup: briefs read stored references only. A daily limit applies either way, and none of it is billed to you.
LinkIntel is delivered as an MCP server, so it is designed to be used through an AI assistant that supports MCP, such as Claude. You can keep writing in the assistant you already use.
They are stored against your account with the reference details needed to prepare your brief. You can request deletion. LinkIntel does not treat public-reference data as a record of your own X performance; that comes only from your connected account.
Reference data and your X post snapshots are stored on encrypted, access-controlled infrastructure and scoped to your account. LinkIntel never receives your X password, and disconnecting X deletes the stored snapshots.
No, not for new accounts. LinkedIn is in closed beta and not open to new accounts. LinkIntel starts with X. If you already connected LinkedIn analytics, it stays available as an optional source on your account page.
