See it in action
The video shows a flow sent from Wavelength to a real Slack workspace. The screenshots come from a real Wavelength account and the same workspace.

How it works
- In Slack, add the Incoming Webhooks app to a channel, or make a Slack workflow that starts from a webhook. Copy the URL.
- In Wavelength, open Settings, then Channels and webhooks, then Add. Pick Slack and paste the URL. It must start with https://hooks.slack.com/services/ or https://hooks.slack.com/triggers/.
- Wavelength sends a test message to the channel.
- On any flow, click Share, then More formats, and pick the channel under Send to, and confirm.
Worked example
A marketing ops lead explains lead routing:
"A lead fills the demo form. Marketing ops scores it in HubSpot. Leads that score over 50 go straight to an SDR."
What lands in Slack
- A header block with the flow title, such as "Inbound lead routing".
- A section with summary lines, such as "• Demo form sends lead to HubSpot".
- A section headed "Questions to confirm", such as "• What happens when the answer to 'Score over 50?' is no?"
- An Open in Wavelength button that links to the flow.
Who uses this
- Sales engineers: Share the prospect's process with the account team minutes after discovery.
- RevOps teams: Post routing and handoff maps where sales and marketing already talk.
Security and permissions
An incoming webhook needs no Slack OAuth scopes and no Wavelength app in your workspace. It can post to one channel. It cannot read messages, users, or files.
Wavelength stores the URL encrypted and limits sends to 60 per hour per account. Remove the channel in Wavelength Settings, or delete the webhook in Slack.
Read the Trust Center and the subprocessor list for how Wavelength handles your data.
Common questions
Does Wavelength integrate with Slack?
Yes. Wavelength sends a flow to a Slack channel through an incoming webhook. The post has the summary, the questions to confirm, and a button that opens the flow.
Can Wavelength read my Slack messages?
No. An incoming webhook can only post to its channel. Wavelength cannot read anything in Slack.
Do I need a Slack admin?
You need permission to add the Incoming Webhooks app or to make a workflow. Many workspaces let members do this.
Do Slack workflow webhooks work?
Yes. Wavelength accepts URLs that start with https://hooks.slack.com/triggers/ as well as classic incoming webhooks.
