How do I schedule a YouTube video?

Connect your channel by signing in with Google, upload the video, add the title, description and visibility, and pick a date and time. PosteAhora uploads it through the YouTube Data API and publishes it automatically at that moment.

Can I schedule YouTube Shorts?

Yes. Upload a vertical 9:16 video up to three minutes long and YouTube files it as a Short on its own: it is the same upload as a regular video.

Can I schedule Community posts?

No. YouTube's API has no way to create Community posts (text, images or polls), so no tool can schedule them. PosteAhora publishes videos and Shorts.

How long can a YouTube title and description be?

Titles up to 100 characters, and a title is required. Descriptions up to 5,000 characters, and tags up to 500 characters in total.

Is a scheduled video public by default?

No, it starts as private. Choose public, unlisted or private for each video; it goes out exactly as you set it.

Can I set a custom thumbnail?

Yes, a JPEG or PNG up to 15 MB, 1280 × 720 recommended. YouTube only accepts custom thumbnails from verified channels; without one, YouTube picks a frame itself.

Do I have to say whether a video is made for kids?

The composer has the switch, next to the one for altered or synthetic content. Both are declarations YouTube asks every uploader for.

What happens if a post fails?

You get an email with the reason, and you can retry the post with one click from your posts list.

Can I see YouTube analytics for each video?

Yes: views, likes, comments and shares for every video and Short. Per-post analytics are on the Scale and Agency plans; Standard and Team include basic analytics.
