How do I schedule a Mastodon post?

Enter the server your account is on, approve PosteAhora there, write the post, add photos or video and pick a date and time. PosteAhora publishes it automatically at that moment.

Does it work with my server?

Yes, with any Mastodon server: mastodon.social or your own. PosteAhora registers itself with your server when you connect.

How long can a Mastodon post be?

500 characters on most servers, but each server sets its own limit. PosteAhora reads yours when you connect, and the composer counts against it.

How many photos or videos can I add?

Up to 4 per post. Your server sets the file size limits; PosteAhora waits until each file is processed before posting.

Can I set visibility or a content warning?

Through the API and AI assistants, yes: visibility (public, unlisted, followers only or direct), a content warning, sensitive media and the post’s language. Posts from the composer use your account’s default visibility.

Does PosteAhora show Mastodon analytics?

Not at the moment. Per-post Mastodon statistics aren’t available in PosteAhora yet; you’ll find them on your post in Mastodon.

What happens if a post fails?

You get an email with the reason, and you can retry the post with one click from your posts list.

Can an AI assistant schedule Mastodon posts?

Yes. Connect PosteAhora to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or another MCP client and it can write and schedule Mastodon posts, with visibility and content warnings if you ask.

How much does it cost?
