I wish I could put 0 stars and leave a review. I will pay what I owe, but after that I will never use Affirm again.

My biggest disappointment is that they allowed the merchant to keep my money even though I never received the products. I was still expected to repay the loan for an item that was never delivered.

Over the years, I have spent between $6,000 and $10,000 using Affirm, so this experience has been extremely disappointing. As a loyal customer, I expected better protection when a purchase went wrong.

This experience has made me lose confidence in the company. In my experience, PayPal has consistently provided stronger customer protection and has stood behind me when issues like this have occurred. Going forward, I'll be taking my business to companies where I feel my purchases and hard-earned money are better protected.

Buyer beware!!!

I trusted Affirm to fairly investigate my dispute, but I was very disappointed with the outcome. I provided documentation showing that I canceled my Club Travalia membership within the contractual cancellation period of 3 days and submitted supporting evidence. Despite this, Affirm denied my dispute and held me responsible for the loan they paid to Travalia even after they confirmed my contract is cancelled and services not rendered! I feel my evidence was not fully considered. I expected better consumer protection and a more thorough investigation. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend using Affirm for purchases where disputes may arise. Essentially since they are in direct conflict of interest to force you to pay a ridiculous 36% Apr on non tangaible good but a fake timeshare sold as hotel stays membership. Both companies are a joke and should be investigated by better business bureau(BBB). 0 stars, and definitely posting recorded messages by both companies on there continued lies to defraud the American people. Run away from all these corrupt companies they in business for you to sue them and run out of money try to wear you down because they are desperate criminals with shiny toys.

Don’t ever use this company

***EDIT So I hear back from this FRAUDULENT company this morning telling me how sorry they are, but my package was delayed and was now en-route. Explain that! Your company said you had SUBSTANTIAL EVIDENCE from Loribeaut showing my items were delivered, but yet I get an email from them telling me it's en-route?! How is that even possible?! I have RE-FILED my dispute again, this is the fourth time, I actually spoke to a manager named Daniel and he seemed very helpful. We shall see . . .

Don’t ever use this company, lesson learned! I have used them over the past couple years and I have been disputing a purchase I never received. They WILL NOT provide me with this “substantial evidence” that a FRAUDULENT company Loribeaut they say provided to them. I call bull 💩 and I am livid right now. Three times I have refiled this dispute to only be told we have sided with Loribeaut. I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY EVER AGAIN. After researching Loribeaut I am seeing a lot of USA customers never receiving their items either. CONSUMERS BEWARE!!!

I used Affirm several times

I used Affirm several times. I always paid my dues way ahead of time. My credit score is 670..no late credit card payments anytime.

Ok. This is insulting so I will quickly pay off remaining months AND NEVER USE AFFIRM AGAIN

Either you are dealing with bots on…

Either you are dealing with bots on this site or they are absolute idiots.
I bought a top and used Affirm - the top was a final sale item from Farm Rio and it was clearly stated that you would not get a refund it you wanted to return, you could only exchange for a different size.
The top didn't fit, and the size I wanted was not available. Farm Rio then said, we don't have the size you want; so you have to pay. I clearly showed them their email where you could only exchange for a different size. There was no codicil that if the size was not available you would still have to pay.
Finally after dealing with them, I called my credit card company and they agree with me and refunded my first installment.
In then notified Affirm and they have repeatedly asked for for the same information and now they are implying that I need to show the order was not delivered!!! I never said the order wasn't delivered; so I resubmitted all of my evidence again. I will never use Affirm again and am paying off two other items I have with them.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service! Was supposed to receive a refund through a company that I bought a product from: provided evidence to Affirm which the. still denied that I was supposed to receive a refund from the company. The company was a total scam and they would not agree with my evidence. I had to pay for a faulty product. Talked to five representatives was not helpful in anyway usually using a credit card is safe online. This one is not.

Buyer Beware - Customer Service

Buyer Beware; this is a follow up to the initial compliant filed on Hike Footwear. This matter continues to be unresolved. I have not received any response from Hike Footwear. I have attempted to resolve this matter since May 2026. I do not have the correct sneakers. Nor have I received a refund for the incorrect merchandise. AFFIRM has made contact with the company and continues to rule in their favor again. AFFIRM is not reputable in resolving disputes. To add insult to injury I have to pay for merchandise that I do not have thru AFFIRM, Both companies have poor business practices. Due to the various complaints that have been received on this business, AFFIRM it would seem that the business practices would change thru management and/or the company be required to stop from doing business with consumers.

Absolute nightmare getting a refund…

Absolute nightmare getting a refund from them celebrity cruise sent them a refund to my account and they are unable to process it. Customer service in god knows where keeps telling me to get confirmation from Celebrity and then they tell me its their internal numbers. Absolute nightmare they are basically hiring people that don't know what they are doing and then asking customers to deal with their internal logistical mess. Incredible reply that is again automated and useless. A bbb report has been filed and a cfpb will follow soon. This is standard practice at affirm dealing with 3rd party customer service that cant help you. Have customers spend hours chasing everyone around. I sent you email with details its simple refund the money that you got back.

Affirm is not a good company!

I have a letter from TrimRx that I quit after 1 month so do not have the product nor do I plan on getting any more. Affirm would not honor this after I provided the letter. They made me pay the full amount!!!! Trust me. Affirm is a bad company! **DO NOT USE AFFIRM** You will be sorry.

Hard Credit Pulls Every Time

Once they pull your credit for a transaction there is a hard credit pull on your credit report. This is understandable. However, every time you utilize them after this, they perform a hard credit pull on your credit report no matter the transaction size, $50.00 or $500.00. I have a credit limit with more than $10K, yet they performed a hard credit pull on all transactions, which causes your credit score to drop! I will never use them again, as I purchased from three vendors for a total of $350.00 and I had three hard credit pulls.

Extremely perplexing/confusing situation

Since Affirm’s AI is so stupid and low quality, I will just treat this as a fraud crime and report it to my bank and get my money back that way. It’s a very simple problem. They would not let me cancel this loan and pay it back for about a week. In the meantime, they charged my checking account $110 for interest I guess and there’s no way to get it back. What’s ridiculous is the loan itself has been totally paid off. The $110 they illegally took from my checking account is over and beyond the loan itself. Their AI is so stupid it cannot figure that out.

Even though they have obviously communicated with trust pilot as well, their system of customer service still fails to let me stop the loan that is still in processing. All I want to do is stop the loan which would automatically stop the processing of that loan, but there will not let me do it. They have also illegally deducted $110 of interest from my checking account.

Everything has been fine with them up until now. They are AT LEAST three days late in approving my latest deal. I want to go ahead and pay the loan off all in one amount, but there is no way to communicate with them. All of their support is AI they have no working phone number. There’s no way to contact them AT ALL WHATSOEVER.
I do not recommend them and I will be ending deleting my account as soon as I get everything paid off. Very perplexing and confusing situation.

They never approve me anymore

They never approve me anymore. I am all up do date on all my other payments with them and yet they keep denying me. I do not reccond affirm at all. Will not use them again in future even if I get approved again. Very dissapppinted with this company.

Heads they win, tails they win...

Affirm makes money off of loan deposits. 60-70% of loan applications are declined however your money is not refunded for weeks. While the deposits sit in their bank accounts, they invest it and earn interest off of your money until it is returned to you. This is called "The Float" a common practice with banks, retailers, credit card companies etc. The pennies and dollars earned in interest add up to nice profits. If your application is approved, they earn money off of interest according to your loan details. I used Affirm twice for plane tickets, the third time I made an error and entered a loan amount 50 cents less than the actual cost, the loan was declined. Three weeks later, I received my loan deposit. What do you think they did with my deposit sitting in their bank account? Real Time Processing has existed for years in which a company can return money to customers in 1-2 days but companies would lose millions earned in interest if they did this. Beware, Google Affirms loan approval rate and decide🤔

However, you might see a pending hold for the down payment amount in your account (the one you used to make the down payment). This doesn’t mean that the down payment went through, and you’ll usually see the hold drop from your account within 7–10 business days. Out gramma passed away at home last September. The coroner refused to take the body unless we had a Crenshaw plan already in place. We went with affirm our of quick and timely service. The loan was due $1200. O have now repair that loan and an strictly paying off the interest, week over $1000. This is a strictly predatory business that took advantage of a grieving family. I IMPLORE you to do your own research!! We would have never contacted this company if they'd been truthful from the start. This is a horrible business that refused to work with you as a client. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. It's been a dreadful experience i wouldn't wish on my wrist engender

Affirm ain't shit!!

Affirm ain't shit!!! I lost over $3000 because they financed a flight. The flight was supposed to have been canceled but the company did not cancel it. I was very specific about what I wanted when I talked to these people. I sent a firm a copy of all those messages between me and that person and I still end up losing. They told me that I lost the case and I've had to pay it back. I paid it back and I continue to use them. Now here I am again. I purchased something using them. The people say that they will ship the item within 24 to 48 hours. Here it is 2 weeks and they did not ship the item. I contacted a firm about it they opened the case which is the same thing they did the last time. And they sent me a message telling me that I lost again. I'm supposed to make the payments again. The company actually canceled the order. Affirm is not worth the time. You will lose your money. They won't get a third chance for me.

Absolute nightmare

Absolute nightmare. On July 3rd, Affirm took an $806 down payment from my bank account for an Expedia flight. Five days later, the booking was never finalized. When I called Expedia, they had zero record of the transaction.

From July 5th to July 9th, I was trapped in customer service hell. Affirm repeatedly gave me the runaround, passing me from department to department, reading from the exact same script.

Now, Affirm is holding my money hostage. They are refusing to refund my $806 down payment—for a flight that doesn't even exist—telling me I have to wait three weeks for Expedia to "deny" a purchase they never received in the first place. I am very upset.

They need to improve on their customer service and refund policy.

I wish I could give them a negative balance on stars!!!OMG they have texted me non/stop, emailed non/stop and let’s not forget the old fashion way phone calls as well!!!!
I was unfortunately unable to follow through on a vacation I was so looking forward to. Just a quick trip to Florida to relax and unwind. I unexpectedly found out after suffering a seizure I would not be traveling anytime soon.I was told I had brain cancer which has spread to bones , lungs and abdomen. I immediately cancelled airline and hotel reservations through Priceline. I had paid using Affirm and wish I would have never chose to give them my business. They to this day texting, calling, harassing me. Don’t repeat, DO NOT use Affirm.

useless company

useless company. had an affirm card that I kept locked and I was getting notifications that someone was trying to purchase stuff using my locked card. sent a message through the affirm app and they just kept transferring me and not responding. you'd think that they would want to take care of this issue quickly but I guess they don't care
