      A Haryana consumer commission has ordered Apple India to refund Rs 45,500 for a faulty iPhone 15. The device allegedly suffered repeated overheating and connectivity issues after purchase. Apple denied any manufacturing defect and attributed the problems to alleged unauthorised modifications to the handset. However, the commission found insufficient technical evidence to support Apple's claim. The company must also pay Rs 10,000 towards compensation for mental agony and harassment, and litigation costs.
