Your personal settings hold your calendar and email connections, how your notetaker appears in calls, and your preferences. To open them, click your name at the bottom of the sidebar, then Settings. Personal Settings opens. Attention joins the meetings on your calendar once it is linked. Linking your email lets Attention pull in emails related to your deals. Unrelated emails aren’t imported. Scroll to the account cards:
  • Link Google accounts has Google Calendar and Gmail.
  • Link Microsoft accounts has Outlook Calendar and Outlook.
You can link one calendar and one email at a time. For example, you can link Google Calendar together with Outlook, but not Google Calendar together with Outlook Calendar.
  1. Next to the calendar you use, click Link account.
  2. Sign in to your Google or Microsoft account in the window that opens and grant the permissions Attention asks for.
  3. When you’re back in Attention, the row shows Linked. Hover over it to see which account is connected.
  4. To link your email, click Link account next to Gmail or Outlook and repeat the same steps.
The Link Google accounts and Link Microsoft accounts cards, each with a calendar and an email row and a Link account button To switch to another account or provider, open the ⋯ menu on the linked row and click Unlink account, then link the new one. Your calendar events show up on Home. To choose which of them Attention joins, see Get Attention into Your Calls.

2. Choose when Attention joins your calls

Under Call Settings, Join external calls when controls which calls with people outside your company Attention joins automatically. Click Edit to change it. For what each option does, see Auto-Join Rules.

3. Set your transcript language

Under Call Settings, pick a language in Transcript language. It is English by default. Languages marked Post-call only are transcribed after the call ends, not live during it.

4. Name your notetaker and give it a picture

Your notetaker joins calls under its own name and picture. You can change both under Call Settings.
  • Change bot name: a new account starts with your first name followed by “‘s AI Agent”. Type a new name and click outside the field to save it.
  • Bot image: your notetaker uses the Attention image until you upload your own. Click the Attention bot placeholder and choose an image. JPG works best.

5. Choose your email notifications

Open Email notifications to choose which emails Attention sends you, such as comments and mentions or shared snippets. Your admin sets the defaults, and you can turn each category on or off for yourself. To stop them all, turn on Unsubscribe from all. Transactional emails, such as password resets, still arrive.

6. Update your profile and appearance

At the top of the page, under General:
  • Click the pencil next to your name to edit your first and last name.
  • Click Change password to set a new password.
  • In Appearance, pick Light, Dark or Use system setting.
