Lanvin

Lanvin is the oldest French fashion house still operating, founded in 1889 when Jeanne Lanvin opened a millinery shop in Paris. The clothes she made for her daughter led to a children's line and then womenswear, and the house's logo still shows mother and daughter. Alber Elbaz revived it from 2001 to 2015. Owned by Lanvin Group, the house appointed Peter Copping as artistic director in 2024.
