Carhartt WIP

Carhartt WIP (Work in Progress) is the European offshoot of the Detroit workwear company Carhartt. It began in 1989 when the Swiss couple Edwin and Salomée Faeh started importing Carhartt to Europe, and in 1994 they were licensed to design their own collections. Based in Weil am Rhein, near Basel, the label reworks Carhartt's canvas jackets, work trousers and C logo into streetwear, closely tied to skateboarding, hip hop and music culture.
