Sending an international package with UPS is a huge mistake. You do the right thing and accurately declare what is inside for customs, but you are basically handing their workers a catalog to choose from. My package was stolen right out of their network. When I went through the agonizing process of filing a claim, the compensation they offered was a complete joke and didn't come close to covering what they lost. The whole system feels rigged against the sender. Do not trust UPS with your international parcels.

I used Parcel Monkey to book a delivery, and their platform suggested UPS as a reliable and cheaper option. Big mistake. UPS literally stole my package. When you use a third-party booking site like Parcel Monkey, you expect them to partner with and promote trustworthy couriers, but that is clearly not the case here. They took my money, handed my parcel off to a company that stole it, and left me completely out of pocket. Save yourself the stress and do not use this service.
For customs, you have to mention what is in the box accurately. UPS employees can read this contents list, and if they like it, they just steal the box, and you get peanuts as compensation. It's a scam.

You won't realize you will get locked up for a 25-year contract with no way to get out. The price gets increased every year without informing you, and there is nothing you can do. Be very careful and understand before you get into this. I repeat, it is a 25 YEAR contract with no way out!

The conveyancing solicitor they recommended (Premier Property Lawyers) is a disaster. The solicitor just disappeared from the web and no sign of them even after a month. I chose L&C to avoid the headaches of remortgage but I landed in something worse because of their conveyancing solicitor recommendation.

One of the worst and rudest delivery company. I had a delivery of a coffee table in a big box. Weights around 30 kilos. My 7 month pregnant wife received it and requested the DHL delivery person to put it inside the door. Not in bedroom or kitchen or upstairs. Just inside the main door. She said he was very rude and he said they are not supposed to deliver inside the door. I had many heavy deliveries and no one refused even when I asked but this DHL person refused when my pregnant wife told him that she can't move it inside. Will never opt for this delivery service. I never use this to deliver anything and I actively look for which delivery service a seller is using if I am buying anything online and if they use DHL, I don't buy that product.
