Liars- unprofessional

Only got 1 star because I wasn't given the option of ZERO stars.

waiting for delivery - constantly told it would be here shortly.
the tracking map showed the van very near to my house.
5:00pm came and went, still being told that my delivery would arrive by 5:30pm
6:00pm - received email saying that the driver couldn't get access to my house (which is just an ordinary house on an ordinary road - no roadworks, blocked access etc).
They didn't even try to make the delivery. DHL are liars.

Shocking company who Lie about delivery

Shocking! Drivers lie. They don't turn up and then it's recorded that "they were unable to access the address". It's a house with a driveway. No gates, Ring doorbell, porch unlocked. Then there's no faciliity to contact them. Appalling company!

No stars, never deliver when supposed to, always the same
Why do companies use them I dont know ,I would prefer to pay extra and receive it on time

Told I was getting my delivery today…

Told I was getting my delivery today Waited in all day for it then got given a time slot. For it to be sent back to the depot as per usual can’t get hold of anyone claiming there open til 8 there not they all gone home. Disgusting. Time wasters.

DHL DOESN'T want to help.

I'm almost on my period but nothing ever, all my life, not even my abusive ex or my bully, makes me want to kill myself than dhl customer service. They all pretend to not know anything and will keep telling you to ask other people for help. I don't have a specific date. It's been happening for days and we've been calling different people countless times.

DHL....Dumb Hopeless Losers.

Yet again DHL refuses and fails to fulfill it's basic contractual obligations and deliver on the date specified.
Time critical order should have arrived today. Oops, sorry order delayed because we're a bunch of shoddy, shambolic shower of sh@#s!!!!! Possibly tomorrow; but don't hold you breath.
I'd rather pay a delivery charge from the seller and have stuff delivered by a reputable company.
DHL should really do us all a favour and cease trading; that would be an ideal improvement the company could offer it's customers.
If I sound annoyed then mission accomplished; more than I can say for this crowd of dimwit numptys. If I said apes could provide a better service then I'd be offending apes.
One star, only because I can't give negative numbers.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Your odds of winning the lottery, without buying a ticket, are significantly higher than getting your package delivered on time by these Muppets.

Where do I start?

Where do I start?? Quite possibly the worst delivery service! I don't know why they give you a delivery time slot as they never stick to it. I get things happen with traffic etc but they have never been on time!! Also, we are a business which shuts from 5pm. There is a sign that clearly states to not leave parcels at the door when we are closed which gets ignored by all DHL delivery drivers!! Most of our parcels require a signature on delivery, its now quite amusing to see what name and signature they have made up for the deliveries!! Honestly something needs to be sorted out about how they operate. We have even stopped buying from some retailers because they use DHL as their delivery option!!! No point trying to speak to anybody as you can never get hold of anyone from Customer Service.

What a useless service

What a useless service. Ordered trainers from under armour that were allegedly out for delivery. When they didn’t show I tried to track my parcel but was unable. I contacted the company to find out where it was only to receive this -

I sincerely apologise for the delay in delivering this item to you. I have checked on the latest tracking for your item and it unfortunately hasn't been scanned in our network since 03/07/2026.

Our latest tracking shows the shipment was last recorded at Portsmouth.

At this stage I would advise you to make contact with the sender of your parcel to discuss next steps. If your parcel(s) are found then we will notify you as soon as that happens.

So basically they lost it and can’t be arsed to find out what happened to it.

Nonsense

Utter nonsense!
You’ve delivered to me 3 times last week yet this week you can’t find my address because you went to a carpark then you decided it was too hard to comw in the building and had me waiting for two days. I had to ask Flannwla to cancel the order and get a refund. So now I’ve no earrings for my birthday!

If only they did one thing right just once!

If only they did one thing right just once...
They keep saying "We couldn't find your address", "You were not home". They don't even drive in my street, just skip the delivery completely.
I would give them 0 stars if I could. Totally unhappy with this service. Unfortunately I sometimes don't have choice and must use them, but I would rather bike to the producer to get the product instead of waiting for DHL to ship it to me.

Excellent customer service under difficult circumstances

This review is for the Aylesford, Kent branch.

Courier tried to deliver twice to my neighbour (unsuccessfully) by mistake and then failed a third time (reason unknown).

Each time I called customer services it took less than 90 seconds to connect with a REAL person.
Each time they were emphatic, apologetic and genuinely keen to assist.

After the third call, I discovered a fault on my electronic gate intercom that prevented it from ringing the house or my phone 🫨

So for the fourth attempt, I manually opened the gates and left them open and ‘hey presto’ the courier turned up on my doorstep at the scheduled time 👍

Not only that, but my parcel had a photo copy of a map stuck to it with my lane and drive highlighted on it all the way to my door - how impressive is that 👍

Sooooooo impressed by DHL Customer Services.

Non delivery

I waited in for a delivery, only to get a message saying they tried and there was nobody in. This was a blatant lie. The driver had skipped the delivery. When I emailed DHL's claims and complaints email, I received a reply in Spanish! Awful company. I now won't buy from anyone who uses DHL for shipment.

DHL making O2 look really bad….!!

Ordered a phone from O2 but as soon as they told me DHL were their preferred delivery partner I was gutted I almost cancelled my order…!! On DHL first attempt to deliver I received a text in the morning with a 1 hour time slot between 16.53 and 17.53, early afternoon I received a text to say they had tried to deliver…..!! On the message it said driver had left a card (which he didn’t). I called the number on the text but was unable to speak with a human. Second attempt they did exactly the same but this time I checked my ring camera to find that they did not even come to the door…..!! I spoke with O2 and they said that I was one of many that had received the same service from DHL and that O2 were trying to move away from them as a partner. I offered to collect the parcel from a DHL collection point but unfortunately they were unable to offer this service. I gave them one more attempt at delivery but they failed again so I called O2 and cancelled my order

Worst experience from Bangalore to usa

Worst experience from Bangalore to usa, sent packet to wrong address and instead of solving it blaming the customer. Redirection within USA which is their mistake the cost is 5x , had to destroy the packet..Pathetic company trying to fleece money and add extra charges to bills.

I ordered some perishable goods

I ordered some perishable goods. When delivered, it was just left on the doorstep, no knock nor did they ring the bell. If it wasn't for my neighbour taking the package in, it would've gone. Contacted customer service, I may as well talked to the wall, I have the package so nothing is done about the driver who delivered it. I know they didn't knock, as the dogs would've barked if they did. Still awaiting a reply from my last email to them. If I could give a minus on the star system, it would -2 to 3.

If I could you would get 0 because for the 3rd time in 2 years every time you were supposed to deliver a parcel it has not arrived yet again a parcel from boots a medical supplies have yet again not arrived, reported again still nothing. Report from you in spam of which it it reported I cannot get on because it seems to be malicious website and I can't get any response

Appalling Service

Without a doubt my experience was appalling. The level of service was poor, no adherence to the advised time of delivery, no attempt to use a letter box and a call service which on each of three attempts cut me off meaning that it was not possible to speak to a human. Further more the tracking service just did not work. Even the rearranged delivery, thanks to the efforts of the sender, was outside the advised time being made earlier than advised. Contact via e mail was acknowledged indicating a response within 24 hours - still waiting.

I haven't had a single good experience…

I haven't had a single good experience where DHL delivered a parcel to me. They must be the worst out there. I live on the second floor. They'd leave big parcels in front of someone else's flat on the ground floor and never actually buzz my number. They must do it on purpose so they don't go up any stairs. I'd avoid at all costs. For all business owners, why would you even use DHL?

Dishonest

Dishonest, incompetent or both. I have a video doorbell/doorcam. DHL claim they tried to deliver but nobody was in! My daughter was in all day and left the house 45 minutes after DHL claimed they attempted delivery. My neighbours were also around. Nobody tried to deliver anything - as evidenced by my doorcam! ZooPlus also about to get another negative review - give me my money back!
