Title: Packlink Insurance is a Covert Scam: They Collect Premiums But Deny Claims via Hidden Clauses! (Case ID: 5322128086)
Do not trust Packlink’s shipping insurance—it is a thoroughly deceptive corporate trap designed to take your money and leave you high and dry when their network loses or steals your inventory.
I am an experienced merchant who shipped a high-value camera lens through Packlink (under eBay’s direct recommendation) and purchased their full premium shipping insurance to guarantee its safety. The courier messed up completely and delivered an entirely wrong package to my buyer. I immediately opened a claim (Case ID: 5322128086). While Packlink eventually arranged a courier to retrieve the wrong package from the buyer, my original camera lens completely vanished or was stolen within Packlink’s internal logistics network.
When it came time to honor the premium insurance that I paid for out of my own pocket, Packlink flatly denied the claim, stating that camera lenses are "prohibited items" for insurance coverage. This is absolute bad faith and institutionalized robbery. If camera lenses are prohibited from being insured, why does your system scan the listing metadata, accept the parcel, and gladly charge the seller an extra insurance premium at checkout without any warning or system block?
You happily pocket the insurance premium when everything goes right, but the moment your logistics network loses the package, you pull out "prohibited item" fine print to evade your legal and financial liabilities. You have successfully cost me the original shipping fee, the insurance premium, and the total value of my stolen camera lens.
This is a shameless scam. I have closed my 12-year-old seller account linked to this ecosystem, and I will actively warn my entire global professional and commercial network to stay far away from Packlink’s fraudulent insurance services. Absolute disgrace.

AVOID THIS COMPANY - MISLEADING SERVICE AND ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY.
I strongly advise against using this company. My parcel was collected as agreed, only to be returned to me four days later after I had already paid for the service. I was charged for the parcel to travel to Madrid and then be returned to me, despite it never reaching its intended destination.
To make matters worse, I was also subjected to additional charges relating to the parcel’s measurements, even though the measurements I provided were accurate.
When I complained, I received generic, automated responses blaming customs. This explanation is not satisfactory. If there were any issues with customs requirements or the parcel itself, these should have been identified before my payment was accepted and before the parcel was collected. I luckily had pictures of my parcel with measurements and exact weight. They did refund for this.
They make up excess measurments and weight of the parcel to charge the customer extra. In the hope the consumer has no proof to defend themselves.
A complete SCAM. How many people have they done this to?
As a result, I lost time, incurred unnecessary costs, and had to arrange alternative shipping myself.
This experience demonstrates a complete lack of accountability, poor customer service, and unfair business practices. Customers should not have to pay for a service that was not delivered, face unexpected charges, and then be left with no meaningful support. I would strongly recommend using a different courier service.
Evita esta empresa: cargos injustos y pésimo servicio.
Mi paquete fue recogido y, cuatro días después, devuelto, pero aun así me cobraron el envío hasta Madrid y la devolución. Además, me aplicaron cargos adicionales alegando que las medidas del paquete eran incorrectas, cuando eran totalmente exactas.
Menos mal que tenia fotos del paquete con las medidas y peso. Me han devuelto el dinero.
Están cobrando para excesos de peso y medidas del envió incorrectas. Es un engaño.
Cuando reclamé, solo recibí respuestas automáticas y repetitivas culpando a la aduana, sin asumir ninguna responsabilidad. Aceptaron mi reserva y mi pago, pero no prestaron el servicio contratado.
Perdí tiempo, dinero y tuve que buscar otra empresa de transporte. No recomendaría esta empresa a nadie.
Do not trust their delivery times
Extremely disappointing experience.
I chose Packlink because the service was advertised with an estimated transit time of 1–2 business days. Instead, my package took 8 days to be delivered.
I understand that delays can happen, and I would have accepted a delivery within 2, 3, or even 4 days due to operational issues. However, an 8-day transit time is nowhere near the service that was presented during the booking process.
What was even more frustrating was the handling of the complaint. Initially, I was told the delay was due to operational saturation. Later, Packlink's position was simply that delivery times are only estimates and therefore they bear no responsibility, regardless of how long the shipment takes.
During the process, I was also informed by the carrier that the shipment was being handled as a standard service, which raised serious questions about the difference between the service advertised and the one actually provided.
The most disappointing part was the complete refusal to take any responsibility for the situation. After multiple emails and hours spent following up on the shipment, the final response was essentially that everything had been delivered according to their terms and therefore no compensation would be offered.
I used Packlink because I trusted the delivery estimates shown on their platform. Based on this experience, I would strongly advise future customers to be cautious when relying on the advertised transit times when making their decision.
I will be escalating the matter through the appropriate consumer protection channels.

EBay item lost, took them 4 months to deny my claim for loss of item. Absolutely useless service
Horrible experience
Horrible experience, the fact that there is no option to send anything without printed label - since I do not have a printer but live in the remote area makes this really difficult. More than that from UI/ UX perspective the indicator of that printed label is needed is so small and tiny that you can't even see it.
No invoice and no emails …
No invoice and no emails after contracting with them a delivery, best take a screen shot of what you have bought. Then you will the necesary info needed to solve any problems of non delivery etc, or even if you need an invoice.
There is no customer support, no human to speak to. Avoid if possible.
My experience was terrible
My experience was terrible. The package got lost and arrived more than a month late. During all that time, I kept trying to find out where it was, but no one could give me any information. They kept giving me the runaround the whole time.
When it finally arrived, I left the corresponding negative review about the awful service I had received. Immediately afterwards (with a speed they had never shown before when I was trying to locate my package), they apologized and offered me a discount coupon on the condition that I removed my negative review.
At first, I refused, but unfortunately, I gave in like a fool. I removed the review and tried to use that coupon, which, by the way, was only valid for a very limited time (about two months or so). The moment I tried to apply the coupon, the prices increased outrageously, and the final price was actually even more expensive than usual without the coupon.
They are frauds, and it is all pure marketing. I have everything in writing, and I will not hesitate to file a complaint.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND PACKLINK AT ALL.

I wasn’t properly notified that the package couldn’t be delivered. As a result, I’ve had to pay for the service again. I’m very dissatisfied.

Packlink is terrible. They dont even honor their insurance that we paid for. We shipped a package that was 4kg and when the package arrived it was empty. We provided the receipt, invoice, photos of the empty package and everything Packlink requested but they refused to pay the claim. I would never use this company for business or personal shipping. Avoid using this company.

Do not trust your parcels to this service. Many items will get lost without any ability for you to place a claim. Long delays between the time you deliver parcels to a collection point and the time the carrier collects them. Cancelled shipments will never receive any refunds. TOTAL SCAM!

Never arrived. Refund refused.
Promised 2 day delivery of a letter via UPS. It has not arrived and they are doing nothing. No one has contacted the recipient. The matter is fine sensitive and I sent it 10 days ago! I had to go with another provider. I asked for a refund but they are refusing to provide one.
Worst Customer NON Service ever
For the third time I have received an email saying they will pick up my package. Three days running without being able to leave the house. Still no pickup by 2pm today, so I fear the worst.
There is no way to contact this company by phone or email, you can only re-schedule the pickup once they have AGAIN not come. INFURIATINGLY BAD!!!
