I visited the Sun Wharf at London…Standards have dropped.

I visited the Sun Wharf at London Bridge. When this venue first opened the food was very good but going by today's experience I can honestly say that the standards have dropped dramatically.
When first opened the food was hot , tasty and served on hot plates but today my friend and I both had the cheese melt beef burger.
It was served on cold plates the onion rings were cold and oily and the chips were only warm the burger itself was also only warm and tasteless. A couple of minutes after our meals arrived a young waitress asked if everything was okay however when we pointed out the problems with the food she seemed to be stuck for words and didn't know or possibly not been trained how to deal with this situation.
We were not offered a replacement meal or apology.
It's sad to see how the standards seem to have dropped rapidly since the venue first opened.
I will now be giving this place a miss.

Bar needs to step up service

Bar needs to step up service. They are so slow and so backed up that we had no choice to order food online after waiting to order drinks. The kitchen was not backed up at all and the food came out quickly. The food manager and staff were friendly and accommodating, and everyone enjoyed their meal. The drinks did not arrive with the food. Luckily we had drinks from a previous bar trip to sip while we ate. It’s time to add some bar tenders.

We wanted to write a massive thank you to Johnny for his exceptional customer service he provided to us today at our visit at the three magnets he went above and beyond and we are really appreciative. He is super friendly and approachable and really good at his job so thank you so much.

I drink regularly in the castle hotel…

I drink regularly in the castle hotel Ruthin. This hotel is a credit to witherspoon. Staff.service. quality is regularly kept to high standard .couldn't be better. I am 83 years old so I have a bit of experience with hotels. Thanks for a brilliant hotel.

Wetherspoons Bracknell- disappointed

Wetherspoons Bracknell- Visited twice and both times bar staff unfriendly. Monday morning breakfast, lady at the bar was rude and in no way welcoming or friendly like we usually experience at Wetherspoons. Food nice as always and atmosphere nice, nice place. Staff bringing food and drinks very nice too. But waited at the bar while bar staff finished their jobs, I was snapped at when I requested a certain item of food, and the lady certainly doesn't enjoy her job so should not be in customer service roles.

Guildford weatherspoon

I ordered a halloumi fires and was delivered a small bowl of chips I brought this issue up to the bar saying I had been given the wrong thing thy then said I should order another of the halloumi in order to get what I wanted, bare in mind th chips are £2 smth and the halloumi are £5.59 this is insane to me after bringing this issue up they basically told me to go away, im appalled and simply wont be going back, terrible even for a spoons.

Gonna need a smaller plate

Ordered fish and chips at The Regal, Gloucester, but the fish was like an elongated fish finger. It's like Russian roulette ordering the fish with your chances of getting a decent sized portion very low. I have noticed no one ever asks how's your meal when you get a stickleback as they don't want the hassle.

Weatherspoons visit @stanstead airport

We visited Wetherspoons in stanstead airport and were greeted by David front of house host. Absolutely brilliant. Couldn’t do enough for us. Even gave us some tourist information on the country we were flying to. This man deserves a pay rise. He’s a credit to the Wetherspoons name.

HOTELS.. not cheap, not easy to cancel

This is about the HOTELS.

I made flexible bookings directly with the hotels on the Wetherspoons website. My trip is now cancelled and I need to cancel these flexible bookings, but it is anything but easy. There is no 'cancel' option under 'manage my bookings', instead you have to write a contact form, 1 form for every booking you have, and send it to Wetherspoons Customer Service Team. They then respond by sending you 3 emails saying they've passed it onto the hotels department. The rooms I booked for one night each came in at £114, £118, and £137, for 1 person in the least expensive room available, months ahead of the date booked. This is not a cheap option and they clearly want to make it as difficult as possible for you to cancel. If you have to book a Wetherspoons hotel, and frankly I wouldn't, then book it through another well-known hotel booking site so that you can cancel easily if you need to.

Falkirk wetherspoons

I took my mother out for lunch, we ordered, got our drinks quite quickly. My mum ordered the bangers and mash, I ordered an ultimate burger on the app but I said to a staff member that I would like to have mash instead of chips but he seemed distracted, went back to my table and we had waited over half an hour for our food while the pub was busy, hardly anyone was ordering food so did not know what was taking so long so we stepped out for a smoke but we were only outside for 2 minutes. We came back in and waited another 10 minutes for our food, then finally our food came out and the server had said she had already brought it out but we weren’t there, and with both our meals there was chips instead of mash (my mum literally ordered bangers and mash and I asked a staff member for mash) so we asked to send it back to get the correct order. we waited another 20 minutes for our food so we assumed they would be making it fresh considering the food would’ve been under a hot plate for so long, well the food came back out and no, the mash looked like it had only been microwaved and the rest of the food was cold, I didn’t even enjoy my burger as it had went so cold all the juiciness from the burger had gone, this is the second time I've been to spoons and my burger has been freezing cold. Used to love going to spoons for food but I am very disappointed with my last 2 trips.
