Quick renewal but irritating quote
Quick renewal but very, very irritating that their initial quote was £50 more than the final quote. You have to go through the process of cancelling your policy before they offer the discount. Pathetic!

I don't normally renew with same…
I don't normally renew with same providers as in past they have not matched other quotes , so thought I would try just before I accepted a cheaper quote, they didn't until I went to cancel their renewal offer , happy to say they matched with just a couple of pounds over so I'm staying with them , was a very quick process to renew, very happy to stay another year

Home Insurance quotes
I checked prices for home insurance on Confused.com. I didn't pick the cheapest, but I chose the most competitively priced policy that gave me good cover, including legal cover and home emergency cover. It was about £20 cheaper than the insurance company I had last year quoted for this year. I haven't made a claim, so can't comment on that process.
