Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 2,696 reviews, most reviewers were unhappy with their experience overall. Many customers found the product did not live up to its advertisement, often receiving a simple fan or heater instead of an air conditioner. People reported issues with the product's functionality, noting it was noisy, poorly built, and ineffective at cooling rooms. Reviewers also experienced significant difficulties in obtaining refunds and encountered poor response times from customer service when trying to resolve these issues. Conversely, a small portion of people felt satisfied with the company's quick response to inquiries about their orders and found the ordering process easy. However, some customers also noted problems with order delivery, including long waiting times and a lack of communication regarding shipping status.

It's advertised as an air conditioner. It's not; it's a fan and heater. The company is bogus. It's one of those that will offer a % of the price paid on returns.

SAVE YOUR MONEY

The first problem was that the manual says “Heater” only. This does NOT produce any cold air. The advertising that this unit functions as an air conditioner is false. The fan is also weak. It’s a ripoff.

Customer agent rating

Well, all you've done so far is answer my phone call and send me this email to fill out this survey. I was kind of hoping for an address to ship the items back. The agent was very helpful in sending this email

Return help

I would say the person told me that I would get the information to return the product. It was a little disappointing not to know specific return details. However, it was nice not to be harassed about returning. The product did not get cold enough for us, so it felt like more warm air blowing around the room.

Company is a lie & scam

Order placed 12th June, it is now 13th July 26. This company so far has only sent the air-conditioning cleaner. I ordered X2 Aircon units and spray, both of which haven't arrived.

I requested a cancellation of my order the day after because I bought in haste, I was lied to and told that the product can not be cancelled as it's already been packed and sent. This was clearly a lie, I have yet to see my other bits on my order.

I have demanded someone look into it, supposedly my order was being investigated, 5 days later absolutely nothing other than a computer generated message.

I am taking this company to small claims court soon, it's not bluff, I'm not going to let them get away with £290 of my money for absolutely nothing!

Has to have to worst and slowest customer service, only seems to be run by one individual
I will do all in my power to ruin the reputation of this company because it has lied and scammed me out of my money.

Disreputable company

My order from Epi cooler has not been received, or a tracking number issued after 30 days. Contact with this company stopped after my last message. This is not a reputable company to do business with and would warn people about believing anything they they claim.

The product did not work as advertised

The product did not work as advertised. It acted as a low blowing fan and did not cool at all. You're representative could of given more specific info instead of say that the info to return the product product will be emailed to me. Also, I'd prefer to take a survey after I've returned the product.

EPICOOLER are an ABSOLUTE CON

EPICOOLER are an ABSOLUTE CON ! The actual cooler is RUBBISH. I contacted them to request a refund / return. I was persuaded via email to keep the unit and offered an increasing discount percentage for every time I said I did not wish to keep the unit. Eventually I agreed to a 70% refund. Was told this would be processed. I never heard from them again despite me contacting them - no reply whatsoever. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM EPICOOLER.

The wait time for the item was long

The wait time for the item was long. It arrived well packed, but then I plugged it in the air was very similar to a fan. I had no issues with the quality of the product,it just didn't cool our room. Customer service has been good,
