Would be a perfect review if they didnt promote AI
This app had gotten better and better. My only complaint is their tiny push to use AI to help fill in information they dont have in app. I found the ai information to be wrong almost every time I had it generate it and that could have had REALLY BAD affects on my garden.

I love the ability to plan out the garden and have the work load divided up makes care so much easier. It does take some learning and I am a bit slow at it I would also like to print off the layout and schedules to take outside with me but have yet to find the option. Enjoying the process need if I don’t get it all done this year.

Powerful App but entrenched with AI
The app is powerful and I love the calendar and journal. What disappoints me the most is that their emails are predatory to get more money out of you for constant classes and they're blatantly written with AI. It's so frustrating to see a company built for sustainability and connecting with nature actively using tools that are destroying our environment on such a regular basis.

Thanks for your feedback and we really appreciate you sharing. We've always wanted to keep an open environment where people always feel free to share both positive and negative experiences with us. That's how we improve.
And while it is true that we have used AI with some of our emails, I purposefully wrote the last few emails myself (like I've done for years) without any AI input. This is the style and format of emails we've been writing for years (AI learns this kind of formatting from humans). I'm genuinely curious if you could tell which ones I wrote personally vs. which ones were drafted with AI and then human edited?
Of course there is the whole conversation about AI and sustainability which is a real thing and I'd be happy to share some insights into that and how growing food impacts sequestering carbon back into the soil. However that is a whole additional conversation.
Either way we'd love to do anything we can to turn this into a true 5 star experience for you.

Great for keeping track of all your plants
I'm not great with the timing of planting nor remembering/knowing when to plant a second round of plants to get a continual harvest. Seedtime has taken care of all of this guess work. And with the AI date planning, I went ahead and setup my garden plans for the entire year. Now I can look ahead without feeling stressed trying to figure out when I should be starting any of my seeds!

I love it when I get good information that can be applied to all types of gardens, large or small.
I appreciate that soil health was included as a component of dealing with pests in a garden in this class. Also the many tips to a balanced garden.

Thank you for providing pertinent information to all gardeners. You hit the nail on the head by sharing that plants that are weak or stressed are the first to be attached by pest. Creating healthy soil and healthy plants without too much fertilizer will help reduce pest pressure. Best!

Disgusted and frustrated
For some reason the chat was disabled on me after a while. I was chatting prior to seeing the message about it being disabled. I have responded to the email and the text which in both I included screenshots of the message. I didn't say anything that should have caused me to lose that ability. I had said I was having trouble with slugs and what I have been doing. Someone named Stefan told me to put some beer outside. I responded with I do not like the smell of beer. After that is when I lost the ability to chat. That was uncalled for.
I came here to include that I had someone within the company respond to my email in trying to resolve this situation. Much appreciation to those who have been trying to resolve this situation! I changed the star ratings! Thank you for telling me what you guys use for the slugs! :)

I'm happy to answer your question for you! We use Sluggo effectively with slugs and it works very well. It is also specific to them so you aren't killing other beneficial insects.
