I would not recommend this company…0 Stars

I would not recommend this company based on my experience.
There is no clear or convenient way to cancel a subscription through the app. I searched throughout the app before deleting it, and there was no option to cancel or even view my subscription status. I also checked my Apple subscriptions, and it wasn’t listed there, so I believed I had simply signed up for a one-month service and deleted the app.
Instead, I was charged another $40 on the day of the renewal, which is when I realized it had been an ongoing subscription. When I contacted customer support, they refused to issue a refund.
If there had been a clear way to view my account information and cancel my subscription within the app, I would not be in this situation. Making subscription details and cancellation options difficult to find creates unnecessary frustration for customers. Whether intentional or not, it gives the impression that the process is designed to make cancellations difficult, and I don’t believe that’s a good business practice.
I hope the company improves its transparency by making subscription status, billing information, and cancellation options easily accessible within the app so other customers don’t have the same experience.

This app has not honored their 30 day guarantee

This app has a 30 day guarantee. It was not beneficial for me. My daughter is 12 and this is geared toward younger children. I completed the required activities and still believe that this app does not benefit me. I have asked multiple times for a refund and I have not received the refund. Buyer beware because they don’t honor their guarantee.

Good experience so far

Dishonest unauthorised payments

I signed up to a one week trial for $9.99 and was immediately charged that plus the full price of a subscription $27.99 before the trial was even close to ending. I’ve contacted their support email requesting a refund and received no response. Based on other reviews this is their modus operandi. Very dishonest. There appears to be no way I can cancel the subscription either. Beware!!!!!!

I found Kidology while looking for advice about my daughter's emotional outbursts. I like having everything in one place instead of reading ten different articles that all say different things. Still exploring the app, but it's been useful so far.The AI coach surprised me

The website is misleading

The website is misleading. I was enrolled in a subscription without realising it or knowingly agreeing to the terms. At first, the app appears to offer helpful advice, but after using it, i found the content to be of very little value. Overall, it did not meet my expectations.

I don't have time to read parenting books, so the short daily lessons were perfect for me. Most take just a few minutes and usually give me one thing to try that day. It's realistic for busy parents.Better than endlessly Googling

We kept changing our approach every few days because nothing seemed to work. Kidology gave us a simple routine to stick with. Our son still has difficult days, but we're arguing with him a lot less than before.Small lessons I can actually finish

We finally started understanding our son together.

My husband used to see our son's behavior as bad behavior or defiance, and I often felt like I was dealing with everything on my own. After we started using Kidology together, he began to understand what was actually driving those behaviors. The app doesn't just offer advice - it explains the reasons behind ADHD in a way that finally clicked for him. Now we're working as a team instead of disagreeing about how to respond.

No more tantrums

We started using it as part of our bedtime routine, and it's made a real difference. Bedtime is so much calmer now, and the tantrums have become much less frequent. I honestly wasn't expecting such a noticeable change, but I'm really glad we gave it a try.

I purchased a 14 day trial

I purchased a 14 day trial, attempted to use for 3-4 days. I was not impressed. Stopped using the product. 1 month after my original purchase they charged me double my original purchase claiming I signed up for a monthly service. I logged in and my profile showed no subscription, no monthly program and no credit card on file. I attempted to work with their customer service and they tried to feed me some BS about my first 1 month subscription and fine print and that is what I signed up for. I explained that I did not sign up for a 1 month- only a 14 day. I got no where. There product is worthless and their company is a scam

Do not sign up!

Do not sign up, there is no way to cancel to your subscription after signing up for a trial and they do not warn you before taking your money. I have emailed their support for a refund but have heard nothing. Surely what they are doing is illegal, and I will be reporting this if I do not get a refund.

Forced purchase no refund

First of all, after signing up for a trial, they had other offers to skip through, but the skip button was below the purchase button and when I tried to scroll it auto purchased a $28 book that I don't want! When I emailed support, they refused a refund and instead offered a coaching session, which I don't want anything to do with this company now that they've taken my money without my permission and no attempt at a refund. The app itself has no account settings, nor does the website so there is no way to cancel the service! I have emailed support to cancel but I'm worried I'll have to block my card to stop them. All of it feels very scammy and predatory on tired parents such as myself.

Fraudulent- AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I didn’t use, open, access, or even want the additional PDF. The purchase was not intentional. it was a complete accident which I notified you of immediately. The way these add-ons are presented feels deceitful and misleading, and I’m extremely disappointed with both the process and the customer service I’ve received. I would avoid this business at all costs! Still no refund or acknowledgment of wrong doing!!!

Unscrupulous shameful scam

Unscrupulous, shameful business praying on parents struggling to find the best way forward in difficult situations. Their User experience leads users to inadvertently sign up for services with one click, hiding the 'skip' button at the bottom of the screen and declining to make it clear that you're allowing them to take yet more money from your account. I'm down £33 and they've refused to return it based on their policy. Steer WELL CLEAR

I purchased this app through an…instagram

I purchased this app through an advertisement.
Once signed up and purchased it asks for more money on workbooks .This should be advised before you sign up and first payment made .I down loaded app and it’s basic at best .poor qty for what you pay.I also did not receive an email receipt or any communication apron signing up.
The app it different from the website and the phone app is useless as it does not load properly and cannot be accessed.
I contacted them for a refund
after trying to use this app to no avail.not even 30 min of use l
But after reading the reviews looks like a scam.
I should have looked here first.
You should refund your customers if the app does not deliver what it promises.
