and the applications of the theory in the construction
field with the purpose of fulfilling the requirements of
the course of Diploma Civil Engineering.
I would like to convey my sincere gratitude to our
internship co-ordinator who have spent their
valuable time and given me an opportunity though
having a busy schedule.
The time I spent in Aakar Enterprise was very
helpful for my carrier .
I am grateful to thank my internal guide Ms.
Bijal Chaudhry who helped me to understand the
real hardwork needed in construction. It’s an honour
to have you as our internal guide.
I am thankful to my precious university for giving

An excavator consists of bucket arm , rotating cab and
movable trucks.
The excavator provides super digging power and lifting the
soil.
2) Concrete Mixer Machine :-
A concrete mixer machine is the machine that mixes cement ,
sand and aggregate to form a concrete paste.
Modern machines contains of revolving drum.
3) Needle Vibrator :-
Needle Vibrator are most commonly used vibrator for
concrete.
It consist of a steel tube connected to motor (electrical or
diesel engine).
The frequency of vibration is between 3000 - 6000 rpm.
4) Concrete Breaker :-
5) Back Hoe :-
A back hoe is an excavating equipment which consists of a
digging bucket on the end of its two arms.
It is used to transport excavated part of earth to the trucks .
6) Concrete Pump :-

LOADS. IT IS TYPICALLY USED FOR RESISTING VERTICAL
LOADS , SHEAR FORCES AND BENDING MOMENTS.
TYPES OF BEAM :-
1. FIXED BEAM
2. SIMPLY SUPPORTED BEAM
3. CANTILEVER BEAM
4. OVERHANGING BEAM
5. CONTINUOUS BEAM
Foundation :-

5) Grillage Foundation
FOOTING CONSTRUCTION :-
Footings are an important part of construction.
They are made of concrete and steel reinforcement.
The dimension of footings depend on the size of structure.
Slab :-
A slab is a structure constructed horizontally to carry a
distributed load in a structure .
Column Construction :-
Column is a structure to support the vertical loads of the
structure.
Types of column :-
1. Short column
2. Long column
Plastering Work :-
