Tee began DJ’ing in 1979, launching his first business as a mobile disco. Between 1995 and 1997, Tee held a weekly slot on London pirate radio station Life FM, where he played UK Garage during its formative years. His sound was firmly rooted in the underground, raw, soulful, and unapologetically authentic. After relocating to the North East in 1998, Tee set out with a clear mission: to transport the underground Garage sound of London and educate the wider club scene. At a time when the sound was still largely unfamiliar outside the capital, he became a conduit, bridging regions, cultures, and musical understanding. Today, Tee broadcasts weekly on 2020 Vision Radio, hosting two distinctive shows: The Tee Experience, where he engages in meaningful conversations with local business owners and people of interest. The Calm Room, a reflective space addressing everyday life challenges, awareness, and personal growth.
