From helping bring groundbreaking energy technologies to market to securing the customer agreements that power one of the most ambitious renewable energy projects in the country. Meet Keddy Chandran, Senior Director of Commercial Origination at Pattern Energy. Keddy leads the long-term revenue contracting for SunZia, working across teams and with customers to turn interest into agreements that help bring large-scale energy projects to life. His work combines strategy, analytics, negotiation, and relationship-building to support the commercialization of SunZia. But what really stands out isn't just his commercial expertise, it's his passion for the mission. “I joined Pattern to work on SunZia. It was the most interesting thing happening in the industry, and I feel lucky to have had the opportunity to work on such a consequential project.” From starting his career at the U.S. Department of Energy to helping bring SunZia to market, Keddy has dedicated his career to advancing the energy transition and finding creative solutions to complex challenges. And while many know him as a dealmaker, his colleagues might tell you he's also a talented cook, an avid golfer, and (according to more than one coworker) a pretty incredible karaoke singer. We're proud to spotlight Keddy Chandran as part of our Pattern People series, and as one of the many individuals who helped bring SunZia to life. #PatternPeople #TeamPattern #SunZia #CommercialOrigination #LifeAtPattern #PowerTheFuture

Today, the U.S. Department of Energy announced the close of a $489.4 million loan to Amanecer Puerto Rico LLC, a Pattern Energy subsidiary, to help strengthen Puerto Rico’s electric grid. The financing will help bring 220 MW of American-made battery storage systems online in Arecibo and Santa Isabel. Once operational, the projects will provide added support to the grid during power shortages, helping more than 100,000 people maintain power. This is an important step toward a more reliable, resilient, and affordable energy system for Puerto Ricans – while supporting American manufacturing and domestic supply chains. #PuertoRico #BatteryStorage https://lnkd.in/eFGXc-97

From protecting critical infrastructure to helping bring one of the nation's largest clean energy projects online. Meet Nicole Noonan, Manager, Reliability Compliance at Pattern Energy. Nicole helps protect Pattern's fleet from cyber and physical security threats, working across teams to strengthen security, manage risk, and ensure reliability. SunZia was her first project from construction through operations, giving her a front-row seat to the complexity (and teamwork) required to bring a project of this scale to life. But what really stands out isn't just the technical expertise she brings, it's her belief in the people behind the work. “There's no way we could have gotten across the finish line without the hard work of so many different teams at Pattern.” From navigating cybersecurity and compliance requirements to supporting a first-of-its-kind transmission project, Nicole has helped ensure SunZia is not only operational, but secure and reliable. Along the way, she's grown as a leader while helping protect the infrastructure communities depend on every day. We're proud to spotlight Nicole Noonan as part of our Pattern People series, and as one of the many individuals who helped build SunZia. #PatternPeople #TeamPattern #SunZia #Cybersecurity #GridReliability #LifeAtPattern #PowerTheFuture

15 years later, we're still showing up. This month, we celebrated the 15th anniversary of St. Joseph Wind alongside the community that helped make the project possible. What began as a local vision became one of Manitoba's landmark renewable energy projects. While the turbines continue to generate clean energy, we're most proud of the lasting relationships built along the way. Because our commitment to a community doesn't end when a project comes online, it continues for the life of the project and beyond. #StJosephWind #CommunityPartnership #WindEnergy #Manitoba #PatternCanada

North America's largest renewable energy project is powered by PCI. We're proud to announce that Pattern Energy has gone live with PCI's forecasting and outage management solutions to support the SunZia project. 🌱 As renewable infrastructure grows in scale and complexity, PCI's platform helps operators streamline outage coordination, improve forecast accuracy, and maintain operational readiness during critical project milestones. "PCI's solution made it possible for us to manage test energy and prepare for energization with confidence," said Matthew Veghte, senior director of real-time operations at Pattern Energy. As projects like SunZia redefine the scale of renewable energy, PCI is proud to provide the technology that helps operators navigate complexity, maintain reliability, and bring critical energy infrastructure online with confidence. 🔗Read more: https://lnkd.in/gg3yjkSh #PCIEnergySolutions #RenewableEnergy #CleanEnergy #EnergyInnovation #SunZia

SRP is adding 600 MW of wind energy from SunZia to Arizona’s grid! Today, Pattern Energy and Salt River Project (SRP) announced a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for 600 MW of energy from SunZia - one of the largest renewable energy PPAs in America. Beginning this fall, SunZia will help meet growing energy demand across the Phoenix metropolitan area with reliable, affordable energy. By 2027, the agreement will triple the amount of wind energy serving SRP customers. SunZia combines approximately 3,650 MW of wind generation with a 550-mile high-voltage direct current transmission line, delivering enough energy to power approximately one million American homes annually. This infrastructure is strengthening the grid and supporting Arizona’s continued economic growth. This agreement reflects what’s possible when utilities and infrastructure developers work together to deliver energy at scale. We’re proud to partner with SRP to bring more renewable energy to Arizona and help meet the needs of a rapidly growing region. https://lnkd.in/grFnUdg2
