  • After serving her country in the U.S. Air Force as a staff sergeant, Amy Mora was looking for a new opportunity. She found one at PG&E. As an apprentice line worker, Amy has responded to various emergencies like cars hitting power poles and storm damage. “I didn’t realize how often we get called for emergencies,” she said. But Amy loves what she does. “When we’re making sure none of our equipment fails, we’re keeping everyone safe,” she said. Amy, who’s based in Ukiah, keeps it simple. “Some days the work is tough and exhausting,” she said. “If you keep a good attitude, you can make it a fun day.”

  • New technology is giving our teams an even clearer picture of conditions in the field. PG&E is the first organization to put a new integration between Watch Duty and Planet to use, giving our teams access to more current, high-resolution satellite imagery directly within the Watch Duty Platform. That means another valuable source of information to help our teams assess wildfire events, better understand conditions in the field and make more informed decisions. We’re proud to work with Watch Duty and Planet to explore innovative tools that can help us continue strengthening our wildfire mitigation efforts.

  • Powering communities goes beyond delivering energy. It starts with showing up. We're proud to be recognized on the San Francisco Business Times' 2026 list of the Top Corporate Philanthropists in the Bay Area. At PG&E, we’re committed to serving people, the planet and California’s prosperity. Through PG&E and The PG&E Corporation Foundation, we invested $36.6 million in charitable gifts to nearly 900 community based organizations across Northern and Central California in 2025. Our generous coworkers contributed $9.3 million through their own contributions and PG&E Foundation matching gifts and volunteered more than 52,000 hours in the communities they call home. Whether supporting education, economic opportunity, disaster recovery, environmental stewardship, or local community needs, we're grateful to work alongside the organizations making a difference every day. Thank you to our nonprofit partners, community leaders, and coworkers whose dedication helps build stronger, more resilient communities across the Bay Area and beyond. https://bizj.us/1qqfuy

  • ⚽🎨 Every child deserves a place to play, dream and belong. That’s why PG&E is proud to partner with Oakland Roots Sports Club, Oakland Parks and Recreation Foundation, internationally renowned artist Shepard Fairey (Obey Giant Art, Inc.), and many local artists lead by Kalani Cecaci, to help revitalize the futsal court at Rainbow Recreation Center in the City of Oakland. The project combines world-class public art with community recreation to create a vibrant gathering space where youth and families can connect, play and thrive. We know that strong communities are built through investment in the places people use every day. By supporting projects that expand access to safe, welcoming and inspiring public spaces, we can help create meaningful opportunities for future generations. Thank you to everyone who helped bring this vision to life and demonstrate what is possible when we come together in service of community.
