We’re having a great day at the Ag Smarter Conference! One of today’s breakout sessions featured an insightful discussion moderated by Dr. Nick Berry with Dr. Daniel Thomson and Dr. Derald Holtkamp on how quickly things can go wrong and ways producers can mitigate risk and losses. Bringing together perspectives from the beef and swine industries, the conversation covered animal health, disease risk, biosecurity and preparedness. Just one of many great conversations happening at Ag Smarter today. We’re excited for what’s still ahead!

  • Wrapping Up Our Summer Intern Spotlight 🌟 We've spent the summer celebrating the talented students who joined Ever.Ag, and we're wrapping up our intern spotlight series with two more interns who brought curiosity, fresh perspectives, and a passion for agriculture to their teams. Luke Altman: As a Dairy Producer Analyst Intern, Luke gained hands-on experience analyzing dairy markets and exploring how market data can help producers manage risk. He built models to predict dairy basis values, analyzed CME Spot and National Dairy Product Sales Report data, and developed Excel models to evaluate dairy insurance programs. Through these projects, Luke strengthened his skills in data analysis and agricultural risk management while gaining a deeper understanding of the role advisors play in helping dairy producers make informed decisions. Tyson Gehrke: As a Market Advisor Intern with the grain team in Platteville, Tyson combined his background in production agriculture with an interest in commodity markets and producer risk management. His work included creating weekly market updates, reviewing brokerage accounts, researching historical option strategies, and developing cost-of-production models for corn and soybeans. The experience gave Tyson a deeper understanding of commodity markets and the many factors that influence the decisions producers make. Thank you, Luke and Tyson, for your hard work and contributions this summer! It's been great to see all of our interns learn, grow, and make an impact across Ever.Ag. We wish you both the best as you continue your academic and professional journeys!

Wholestone Prestage runs leaner, plans smarter with Ever.Ag S&OP. For a farmer-owned pork cooperative running two processing facilities, precision in scheduling isn't just an operational goal. It's a promise to customers. As Wholestone Prestage has scaled, Ever.Ag's S&OP platform has helped streamline how they manage scheduling, replacing a more manual, multi-touch process with a single automated schedule per facility, and pushing makesheet accuracy even higher along the way. The platform integrates directly with Wholestone Prestage's existing ERP, bringing demand forecasting, production scheduling, and inventory allocation into one connected system. And as they expand into more value-added products, they're already working with Ever.Ag to extend those planning workflows. As VP of Business Management Kevin Drietz put it: "The transparency it brings, that information is all there. You just have to go look for it, ask a question, and you can get it answered pretty quickly." Read the full story: https://lnkd.in/gGtGxf-5

This week, we're highlighting three more interns whose hard work, curiosity, and fresh perspectives have helped support teams across Ever.Ag this summer. Marley Savela: As a Sales Operations Intern, Marley supported Salesforce data management, CRM improvement initiatives, and reporting projects that strengthened the systems behind Ever.Ag's sales organization. Her work helped build a stronger foundation for efficient sales processes, informed decision-making, and exceptional customer relationships. Owen McGill: As a Feed Market Advisor Intern, Owen combined his passion for agricultural markets with real-world experience supporting Ever.Ag's Feed Foundations team. Tipper Truong: As a Legal Operations Intern, Tipper supported the Rev Operations team by managing legal approvals and maintaining accurate Salesforce data across customer accounts and opportunities. From processing approvals to improving data quality for assets and sales orders, she helped ensure critical business processes ran smoothly behind the scenes.
