  • Last week we released the 2025 State of Ag Resilience — a report outlining current trends, challenges and opportunities on our path to food system resilience. We surveyed 21 leading CPGs and agribusinesses about their own journeys, and learned that these leaders are laser-focused on building strong partnerships and quantifying the ROI of regenerative programs. Now, let’s dig into those 2 topics. Join us and experts Adam Hardie from Mars and Al Yablonski from Anchor Ingredients Company on February 27, 2025 (11 am PST / 2 pm EST) as we discuss our collective progress in building resilience, the importance of partnerships and ROI, and what comes next for our industry. • The global cost of climate change reached $143 billion annually in 2023, equivalent to $16 million every hour. This is a cost we simply can’t afford. We can start preventing further loss by investing upfront to build a more resilient food system. Investing in resilient practices like cover cropping and conservation tillage are far more cost effective than paying on the back end. Plus, it builds a better support system for farmers, ecosystems and our supply chains in the long run. Building resilience is a big task — so we broke it down for you, using advice from leaders across the agrifood supply chain. See their insights. • Here’s where to focus your efforts to build agriculture resilience in 2025. 1️⃣ Quantifying the impact of climate change on business and supply chains 2️⃣ Developing a complete view of regenerative ag ROI 3️⃣ Building strong internal and external partnerships 4️⃣ Prioritizing action now (even in the face of regulatory uncertainty) We surveyed 21 of the largest enterprises in the ag and food sectors, and summarized their advice into these 4 focus areas. Learn more about each of these in our latest report, The State of Ag Resilience: https://lnkd.in/gWtjVJ86

  • 70% of companies are currently feeling the impact of climate change in their supply chains. And by impact, we mean supply chain disruption, price volatility and profit loss — factors that significantly affect business outcomes. Addressing this issue is tough. Thankfully, leaders in agriculture and food are beginning to pave the way for resilience, and we’ve been able to gather some key insights from their experiences.  In our latest report, we surveyed 21 of the largest CPGs and agribusinesses to understand the challenges and opportunities in agriculture resilience. Here are some interesting stats we’ve seen: ➡️ The #1 barrier to investment is a lack of quantified ROI for regenerative ag programs ➡️ 80% of companies have established partnerships across the supply chain to accelerate regenerative agriculture ➡️ For 43% of companies surveyed, the presence of regulatory guidance is one of the top two drivers for corporate climate action 🔎 See more of what we learned: https://lnkd.in/gWtjVJ86
