The CJN Foundation is an independent organization that supports the mission of the Cleveland Jewish News.
At the heart of the foundation is the need to preserve, protect and keep our words alive for the Jewish community, now and in the future, through three specific goals:
The Samuel H. Miller Keeping Our Words Alive Digital Archive of the Cleveland Jewish News
Visit the free Samuel H. Miller Keeping Our Words Alive Digital Archive of the Cleveland Jewish News to access over 125 years of Cleveland Jewish history as it appeared in the Cleveland Jewish News and its predecessor newspapers.
The Samuel H. Miller Keeping Our Words Alive Digital Archive of the Cleveland Jewish News is the online, searchable database of the complete collection of the Cleveland Jewish News. The CJN Foundation launched the archive in June 2010.
The foundation is committed to educating the community in print and through innovative programming. The foundation supports educational lectures, programs and discussions related to Jewish culture and accomplishments in Greater Cleveland, as well as subscriptions through the foundation's "Keeping Our Words Alive" initiative.
The CJN Foundation supports the CJN internship program, which builds future Jewish media professionals and connects them to the Jewish community.
