Attractively situated in the Higashiyama Ward district of Kyoto, Rinn Gion Shirakawa is set 600 metres from Samurai Kembu Kyoto, 1.2 km from Shoren-in Temple and 1.9 km from Kyoto International Manga... Excellent location right in the center of Gion. Room was lovely and spacious and beds were very comfortable. The receptionists were lovely and friendly, we really enjoyed our stay and will be back!

In a prime location in the Higashiyama Ward district of Kyoto, NOHGA HOTEL KIYOMIZU KYOTO is located 1.1 km from Kiyomizu-dera Temple, 1.1 km from Sanjusangen-do Temple and 1.3 km from Gion Shijo... 15 mins walk to kiyomizudera. All the staff are pretty nice and helpful.

Awarded two pavilions by the Michelin Guide 2020, Hotel Alza Kyoto is situated near the Kamo River and within Gion District, a 2-minute walk from Sanjo Station. Great little hotel in an excellent location. Staff was very polite and helpful.

The location is to the west of the busy shopping area of Kyoto but not too far to walk to. The best part facility is definitely the public bath that is open form 15.00 to the following morning 10.00. Absolutely excellent. After a sweaty day outside it is amazing to soak in the hot bath and even in the morning it allows a relaxed start to the day.

Situated in Kyoto and with Samurai Kembu Kyoto reachable within 200 metres, Dhawa Yura Kyoto - Banyan Group features concierge services, allergy-free rooms, a fitness centre, free WiFi throughout the... This is a high quality hotel. It is a bit more expensive, but you pay for what you get. It was definitely exceptional and we strongly recommend it if you are willing to pay for it. The personnel at the reception was great. They have coffee free of charge. Breakfast was really good: a buffet with both Japanese and continental food. Location is excellent too, a 10 minute walk from Gion or Pontocho, or less, and next to the metro station and bus stops. The room is very nice, not very big, but very comfy bed and very nice and quite spacious bathroom.

Situated in Kyoto, 1.2 km from TKP Garden City Kyoto, 谷町君Hotel 京都駅東29 features views of the city. The 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom and free WiFi. I loved the location so much, the hotel was so thoughtful and organised and had everything I needed, it was quiet and I had a beautiful sleep each night. The people were so kind and looked after my bag ok the day of checkout as I wasn’t leaving until the afternoon. This was a solo trip but I will be coming back with my partner soon. Thank you xx

Conveniently set in the Higashiyama Ward district of Kyoto, HIYORI Stay Kyoto Kamogawa is situated 1.3 km from Gion Shijo Station, 1.4 km from TKP Garden City Kyoto and 1.9 km from Kiyomizu-dera... This was a fantastic room for a family of 4. The beds were large and comfortable. The entire apartment had a full kitchen, large bathroom, and laundry facilities. It is within 8 mins walk to several subway stations but we also walked to and from the main train statin in 16 mins. By foot we could also reach Gion easily and see some of the more famous shrines and areas that within the city. The river is agreat place to go for a run. The daily breakfast was tasty and a food way to start the day.

Located in Kyoto, within less than 1 km of Gion Shijo Station and a 16-minute walk of Samurai Kembu Kyoto, Hotel Yuraku Kyo-yasaka provides accommodation with a shared lounge and free WiFi throughout... EVERYTHING. I really wish we could have changed our schedule and stayed another two or three nights. The vicinity was peaceful, but also walking distance to a lot of the shops. Room was big, there were pajamas and yukatas available to wear, complementary snacks, tea, coffee, sweets. Staff were always manning the reception, the bath was wonderful and always warm. Would definitely stay here again if I'm back in Kyoto.

Ideally set in the Higashiyama Ward district of Kyoto, KABIN Minamiza is located less than 1 km from Samurai Kembu Kyoto, a 16-minute walk from Shoren-in Temple and 1.7 km from Kyoto Shigaku Kaikan... Excellent location, rooms are a good size, very well designed with very comfortable beds. Rooms have black out blinds. showers are very good.
