PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Two Arizona Cardinals players are among the league’s top players who will participate in the 2025 NFL Pro Bowl Games in Florida this year.

Safety Budda Baker and tight end Trey McBride were selected for the NFC squad. Three fellow teammates—kick returner DeeJay Dallas, tackle Paris Johnson Jr. and kicker Chad Ryland—were selected as Pro Bowl alternates.

Baker will be a starter for the NFC team in the Pro Bowl Games. This is his seventh Pro Bowl team and sixth consecutive selection.

He joins elite Cardinals company with his latest selection. Baker is just one of five Cardinals players in franchise history to be selected to at least seven Pro Bowls, joining wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald, cornerback Patrick Peterson, safety Larry Wilson and cornerback Roger Wehrli.

Baker leads the team with 155 tackles and 92 solo tackles so far this season. And great news for Cardinals fans — he won’t be going anywhere anytime soon. Baker signed a three-year contract extension in December that will keep him with the Red Birds through the 2027 season.

Meanwhile, for McBride, this will be his first Pro Bowl since he was drafted in 2022. He has established himself as a consistent target this season for Kyler Murray, racking up the second-most receptions and receiving yards among NFL tight ends. So far this season, he has 104 receptions for over 1,000 receiving yards, trailing only Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers.

McBride is also making franchise history for the Red Birds. He will be the second tight end in Cardinals’ history to earn Pro Bowl honors, joining Hall of Famer Jackie Smith.

Fans can watch the Pro Bowl Games on Sunday, Feb. 2 at 1 p.m.
