Plans

A visual monitor covers one site: the URL you add plus the extra pages your plan includes. It compares each page with its last good screenshot and alerts you when it looks different, even if the site still responds. It also checks uptime and counts toward your monitor total. An uptime-only monitor checks that the site responds, without screenshots.

What customers caught.

Instant alerts that make website monitoring stress-free

I used to manually check every client website to make sure it was still online. If a plugin update, SSL issue, or hosting problem caused downtime, I usually found out only after a client complained. Visual Sentinel fixed that for me. It monitors all my sites and sends instant alerts when something goes wrong, whether it is downtime, performance degradation, certificate issues, DNS changes, or visual breakage. The support for multiple alert channels, including WhatsApp, makes it even more useful. It has saved me a lot of time and made my website management far less stressful.
Shahid K., Verified G2 reviewerRead on G2
Visual Sentinel picked up and detected a rogue XMR crypto miner that injected itself via Magento. Alerted me of the issues, made it obvious what the problem was, and I could get repairs done immediately. Took us 18 minutes from start to finish to completely scrape out this garbage after diagnosis finished, and around an hour of downtime total. Wouldn’t have had any idea without your tools.

How does the trial work?

When you sign up and add your website, its first check runs right away, with no card. To keep monitoring, choose a paid plan and either start a 7-day trial with a card on file or subscribe now. Subscribing now charges at checkout. A trial is charged on day 8 unless you cancel before then, and we email you about 24 hours before the first charge. One trial per customer: a workspace that has already had a trial or subscription is charged when it subscribes again.

What happens after my trial ends?

If you keep the trial, your first payment is charged on day 8 and the plan renews until you cancel. If a trial or subscription ends unpaid, monitoring pauses. Your workspace keeps its monitors and settings, and its history under our standard data retention, so you can resume at any time by choosing a paid plan.

Is there a free plan?

No. A new workspace on the web gets a first check of its website at signup, with no card. To keep monitoring, start a 7-day trial of a paid plan (card required) or subscribe now. Our free website tools stay free and work without an account.

Can I upgrade or downgrade anytime?

Yes. You can change your plan at any time, and the new plan applies right away. Upgrades are prorated and charged when you confirm. On a downgrade, the unused part of your current plan becomes a credit on your next renewal. You see the exact charge or credit before you confirm.

What payment methods do you accept?

All major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and PayPal, processed securely through Paddle. Bank transfer is available on custom plans.

What is your refund policy?

There is nothing to refund if you cancel a paid-plan trial before its first charge. Every paid plan, monthly or annual, carries a 14-day money-back guarantee: a full refund on request within 14 days of your first payment, no questions asked. After that, cancel any time and keep access until the end of your paid period. See the refund policy for full terms.

Do you offer discounts for annual billing?

Yes. Annual billing costs 15% less than paying monthly on every paid plan. The plan cards show yearly prices first; switch to Monthly above them to compare. Existing subscriptions keep the price they signed up at for as long as they stay on the same plan and billing period.

Can I use Visual Sentinel from Claude, Cursor, Cline, or Continue?

Yes. The Visual Sentinel MCP server (@visualsentinel/mcp-server on npm) adds 16 monitoring tools to any AI client that speaks Model Context Protocol. Five tools (DNS lookup, SSL inspection, speed test, website check, service health) work without an account. The other 11 (monitor management, incidents, alerts, status pages, servers) use an API key, which comes with the Business and Agency plans. Create one at /settings/api-keys. See visualsentinel.com/mcp for install snippets.
