I rarely leave reviews, but I felt Lennie (Lanesra Varley) at Tennisnuts genuinely deserved one.

I recently ordered several pairs of badminton shoes from Tennisnuts, and finding the right size proved far more difficult than I expected because each model fitted differently. Throughout the process, Lennie was incredibly patient, knowledgeable and responsive. She took the time to answer my questions, offered thoughtful recommendations based on my requirements, and never made me feel rushed despite the number of exchanges we had.

Thanks to her advice, I ended up with the Yonex Cascade Accel, which fits perfectly. She also made the returns process for the other pairs straightforward and hassle-free.

In an age where good customer service is becoming increasingly rare, it's people like Lennie who make the difference. She turned what could have been a frustrating experience into a genuinely positive one, and it's exactly this level of service that keeps customers like me coming back to Tennisnuts year after year.

My experience with the TennisNuts customer service team has been one of the worst I've ever had online.

I've been a repeat customer, having previously purchased a racket from them at a great price, which is what brought me back for a second purchase. Unfortunately, this time my experience was completely different.

Although my order confirmation email clearly showed my correct delivery address, my package was sent to a completely different address. While mistakes can happen, what was truly disappointing was how the situation was handled. At no point did customer service acknowledge the error, and despite promising on three separate occasions to send me email updates, I never received a single one.

Instead, I had to call customer service around five times just to ask for updates, only to receive no meaningful information. On two occasions, I was told I couldn't be transferred to a supervisor because she was "on her lunch break" - the second time at around 3:40 p.m. - which felt like an excuse rather than a genuine reason.

I made every effort to resolve the issue cooperatively, waiting weeks and even contacting the logistics carrier myself despite the fact that I had done nothing wrong. After two weeks with no meaningful communication, no ownership of the mistake, and no resolution in sight, I had no choice but to dispute the transaction through my credit card provider. I then purchased the same product from another retailer, unfortunately at a higher price.

Overall, TennisNuts offers competitive prices and fast shipping when everything goes smoothly. However, if something goes wrong with your order, my experience suggests that customer support may fall well short of the standard you would expect. I never do reviews online but I felt compelled to write this one and I hope it helps customers and the store to improve their subpar customer service.

The order was shipped as described & tracking was straightforward. I was able to redirect to a local pick-up centre without problem.

I ordered tennis shoes size 6 and got size 4. I made contant with the company and asked it to be refunded. after answering I couldn't return the wrong item since I'm no longer in the UK I haven't got a reply.

Ordering on website had problems so had to place via phone.

Provide a great selection of tennis gear at competitive prices. Simple to order and pay online. Great to get a discount on an already good value price when you buy a gross of balls. Also invested in a new pair of shoes suitable for grass/astro courts - great guidance on which grip patterns are best for each court surface. Everything was delivered within a couple of days and no delivery costs.
