I booked two hours of service…

I booked two hours of service specifically to move a console table from the curbside into my residence, unpack it, and place it in the correct location.
The service provider was informed in advance that the item was a console table and was also given the estimated delivery time. The residence was an apartment with elevator access, so there were no stairs involved.
Despite having all this information beforehand, he arrived late and without any tools, equipment, or materials necessary to perform the job. He was unable to carry the item by himself and did not unpack or properly place the console as requested.
Ultimately, the service we paid for was not provided, and we had to handle the work ourselves. It is extremely disappointing to pay for a professional service and then be left to complete the job ourselves.

Last minute Cancellation by Tasker…

I had communicated and booked with your Tasker, Thomas. The night before I was contacted by TaskRabbit to tell me he had canceled the reservation. It ended up costing me quite a bit of money out of pocket to find someone at the 11th hour that could show up the next morning at 7:30 AM to help me with my move. Although TaskRabbit commented that they had people available, they did not. I was able to procure the service of John S. through your service for the afternoon portion of the order. He was wonderful. But the whole last-minute cancellation and the amount of money that I had to put out well and above what Thomas would have cost me is most disconcerting.

My Go To Company

I've had several great experiences using Taskrabbit. I've hired Taskers for a variety of jobs, including cleaning, assembling furniture, mounting TVs, and installing chandeliers, and each experience has been smooth and professional.

The platform is easy to use, scheduling is convenient, and I appreciate being able to review Tasker profiles, ratings, and pricing before booking. Every Tasker I've worked with has been punctual, courteous, and skilled, and the quality of the work has consistently met or exceeded my expectations.

We had a great experience

We had a great experience! He did an excellent job cleaning up the yard and worked efficiently from start to finish. He was punctual, professional, and paid attention to detail. The yard looks so much better now, and he made sure everything was cleaned up before leaving. I really appreciate his hard work.Highly recommend!

DO NOT USE

DO NOT USE - Unauthorized charges and impossible to reach human support!

I am writing to strongly warn others about my horrible experience with TaskRabbit's billing and customer service. I hired a Tasker who accidentally created two invoices for one service. Instead of an easy fix, this triggered a chain reaction where TaskRabbit has now erroneously charged my account four additional times.
​When attempting to resolve this, I discovered two massive red flags about their platform:
​Trapped Financial Data: The platform does not allow users to delete their own credit card or financial information to protect themselves from automated, recurring charges.
​Automated Support Loop: There is zero human customer service. You are forced to deal with an AI chatbot that acts like a robot, repeating the exact same unhelpful scripts over and over without providing any actual resolution or escalating the issue.
​I have repeatedly asked for my account to be deleted and for a refund, but the system is entirely unresponsive to actual customer needs. I am now forced to dispute these charges directly with my financial institution. I strongly advise against giving TaskRabbit your payment information.

Bought the tv brand new guy wanted us…

Bought the tv brand new guy wanted us to wait tomorrow and then get billed another hour. I said let’s get it done today. Job got done but took longer than anticipated so I of course had to pay more.

After a lengthy attempt to use my…

After a lengthy attempt to use my password, I finally changed it successfully. Found a great guy to do some electrical work. It took 10 days to get info on what I was charged, difficulty filling out satisfaction survey, and I gave up trying to leave a tip because the website changed screens and I couldn't find the tip screen. I will never use Taskrabbit again, because of the website. The electrician was great!
