Do not trust this company. SCAM

Do not trust this company. It’s an elaborate way to collect your information including identity and credit card info which you have to fill out first with prescription info making you believe that you can just order your medication. Then you receive an email saying they cannot fill your prescription and your money is getting refunded. My prescription is not a controlled narcotic or anything like that. Hence why I fell for this scam. Too good to be true to be able to finally get my only prescription I ever need a few times a year with a couple clicks. SHAME ON YOU STARFISH AND ALL WHO WORK FOR IT.

After reading all these negative…

After reading all these negative comments about this company, “StarFish” I started feeling nervous and worried because I really didn’t care to look for another provider and then having to go through the hassle of getting a refund. But after being optimistic, everything worked out and my order is ready. Not sure what people are talking about? But everything worked out fine for me! Thank you !! Starfish!

Took payment but no follow through including no RX

Completed all the paperwork, paid upfront as required. Received an email that someone would get back to me within 1-2 hrs. 3.5 hrs later nothing, no medication called in to pharmacy and now the pharmacy is closed! Scam. I will be contacting the BBB and refuting charges since I did not receive any service nor meds.

I don’t understand all the bad reviews

I don’t understand all the bad reviews. Like at the doctor’s office, you come in for the visit and then pay for prescriptions at the pharmacy. Whether or not the visit is covered depends on your insurance. Starfish doesn’t give you an option to enter in your insurance I information so you should know that you’re paying for the virtual visit/doctor review out of pocket. The add on fees are obvious if you just read it. Long story short, the process went smooth for me. I did the initial online payment, selected the services I needed, promptly completed the questionnaire, got a confirmation email about 2 hours later, then immediately received a text message from my pharmacy that my order would be ready for pickup within 30 minutes.

I would provide zero stars if possible

I would provide zero stars if possible. The website states it will take 1-2 hours to receive a rx. I’ve been waiting 4 and have been told there is no way to state how much longer the wait will be but that I can check back in 2 additional hours. I would’ve chosen another option for Telehealth if they were honest about the wait time. This is ridiculous and many reviews so the same issue. I wish this site had come up when I was first researching them rather than a different rating site with 5 stars for them.

I used this service a few months ago &…

I used this service a few months ago & was a bit scared to try due to the bad reviews. But it turned out to be real. I was willing to take the risk. Sent my meds to the pharmacy & was a fast process. My ONLY complaint would be that I never received the OTC product I selected when checking out. I’d skip over all the pop ups to buy any vitamins or extra stuff. Just check out & get the meds you’re actually needing.

I understand the confusion. To clarify: the fee you pay on our site covers the telehealth service—physician review, diagnosis, and sending your prescription to your chosen pharmacy. The medication itself is paid for at the pharmacy. You can use your insurance at the pharmacy for the medication.

If you’d like, we also offer medication delivery during the questionnaire; that option includes the cost of the medication.

It is a scam. I should have known since this was so easy. You are paying for telemed NOT drugs. So one has to pay cash or try to use insurance. No one answers phone or text or email. Do not use.

Starfish promises a 1-2 hour response…

Starfish promises a 1-2 hour response on prescription requests. After two hours I was left without a reply and when contacting customer service was asked to wait several more hours to hear back. This is a scam company! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! They try to upset and do not care to fulfill orders when you do not agree to their up sell tactics.

Misleading

Misleading. They upsell you “medications”, but you are just paying for them to write you the script. One of the upsells was $336 once I arrived at the pharmacy because my insurance would not cover it. I didn’t need that one, for the one I really needed I paid $35. Making the total amount of money spent over $100.

Completely deceptive

Completely deceptive! Beware! They make it look like you are ordering and paying for medication, and at checkout it doesn’t at all mention you are only paying for “telehealth” and not the actual medications. They even upsell you on additional medications but really it’s just upselling the prescription the send to a pharmacy that you still have to pay for. A Drs visit would have been cheaper.

You still have to pay for the Prescription

They don't tell you that you still have to pay for the actual prescription. They do charge you for the consultation and writing the prescription. Should be in bold letters and/or on their FAQ section. Waste of time.

Starfish is legit at the beginning I thought It was a scam but I decided to give them a try anyway. Im so glad I did!!! I have suffer from recurring BV for half a year and the Dr's visits were getting too expensive. They were also the only Drs who were willing to treat my husband for BV while all other Drs wouldn't treat him. I placed my order and had my prescription within 2 hours. "Now the price you pay when you place your order is for the Dr to prescribe your medicine only", and that payment "Does Not Cover Your Medicine!!! "You will have to pay for your prescription at the pharmacy. Also If you have any issues they only communicate with you through messages only.

Starfish is UNPROFESSIONAL

I ordered probiotics and was told that I chose shipping on the questionnaire. I spoke to three different people about the same problem of me not getting a tracking number or even having my probiotics shipped to me. It was like speaking to a robot. They won’t let you talk on the phone only through text message so your problems are literally handled by human robots who can’t do too much but tell you that they have reached out to the clinician.

Amazing

Amazing! I had my prescription within 1 hour. You will have to pay for your prescription once it’s sent to the pharmacy. I have insurance so I only paid $5 for BV meds. I will be using Star for my meds moving forward!!!!
