Avoid Letus – Deceptive Fees and Terrible Policies
I would strongly discourage anyone from using Letus. I attempted to make a rent payment through their platform, but canceled it shortly after. Despite canceling the payment, Letus still charged me a $50 service fee and refused to refund it.
Even though the actual transaction was canceled, they kept the service fee. There was no clear warning that this fee was non-refundable, and calling this practice anything but deceptive would be too generous.
A $50 fee for a canceled transaction is beyond unreasonable. It shows they care more about squeezing money out of users than actually providing value or fair service. This experience made it clear to me that Letus is not a company that values transparency or customer trust.
If you’re considering using this platform, just don’t. Look for better and more ethical alternatives that won’t penalize you for simply changing your mind or fixing a mistake.
LetUs was very easy to deal with. Initially there were some concerns but they were dealt with right away. You can check your account anytime you want to. They notify you before the rent is withdrawn. Service was quick and everyone is very helpful.

Just the worst.
I hate not being able to pay my rent directly and instead waiting on this horrendous third party to take their sweet time processing my rent payments. It's now January 9th and my rent money is still sitting there in my chequing account, which I hate. I used to pay directly as an online bill payment on the last day of each month, and now I'm 9 days into a month and the funds are still sitting there. Letus' customer service is absolute trash. They can't answer questions and will only give formulaic answers. The last person I spoke to tried to tell me that my account didn't exist (my building switched us over 6 months ago, so it definitely does), then realized she'd spelled my last name wrong despite multiple repetitions. All she would tell me is that it typically takes 5-7 business days and couldn't explain why it's now been 8 business days in my case (I have payments set to come out on the 29th of each month) or how much longer I can expect this to take. I also asked if she could just process the payment already, and she could not. Hate this "service".
Been using for rent and every month is a different price, they charged me late fees of $34.50 8 times for the same month, now i’m owing for a month of rent back in 2022, and luckily i have proof i paid it. They keep switching between company names. sketchy as heck

I set up an account on RentMoola.com, but when I inquired about deleting my account through the chat bubble on RentMoola.com, the customer service representative claimed that he's with Letus and that they are no longer using RentMoola (whatever that means). He denied having any connection with RentMoola, even though I accessed the chat bubble through RentMoola.com, and the website is covered with Letus logos and contact information. Now, my personal information is stored in a database on a website that prominently features Letus, yet Letus disowns any association with RentMoola. I don't know what is going on between Letus and RentMoola, but now I don't trust either of them.

I have been charged $57.00 just for one transaction fee. This is outrageous. It is already hard enough to pay rent due to a rent increase and food. Now your institution is charging an unreasonable amount of money just to use services. This is not a good company. I'm not sure if this is fraudulent activity but it's not right. There was no indication that I would be charged $57 to use this service.

Didn't trust my landlord to turn off payments so I emailed them. They helped me out very very fast. The agent who assisted me was Kashmir Lubiano.

LetUs keeps sending bogus messages to my phone and email saying a owe money. They do not reply to messages Their terms of service contact on completely one side in their favor. For example, Co. can take money out of your bank account without your consent. Co. has the right to do background checks . What is this ? Also, no refunds under any circumstance. A foreign Co, not American, is Canada. Don't want to be subject to their laws. Avoid WIPS is a better alternative .
