We had a confirmed booking for a car from OK mobility at Santander airport. On presenting the booking confirmation at the desk, OK mobility denied knowledge of the booking and told us that a car might be available later!
The booking was made through Economy Car Rentals whom we called to complain. We have not heard back from them after 4 days. It seems they are disinterested.
Systematic Fraud: "Hybrid Fee" sold to me as mandatory State Tax
Fully prepaid a manual petrol compact through billiger-mietwagen/Rentalcars. At the Pisa Airport desk I was told I had to pay an extra €70, presented as a mandatory "state tax" for petrol/hybrid cars that could supposedly only be avoided by switching to an electric car. The contract, however, lists it as a commercial "Hibrid FEE" — not a tax. I had booked a manual car, never a hybrid, and OK Mobility's own price list caps this hybrid surcharge at €50 per rental, so €70 is €20 above their own maximum. My complaint (ticket 1119945) was rejected without addressing the false "tax" claim. Misleading — check every charge here carefully.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience with OK Mobility.
I hired a vehicle for a family holiday in Spain, and unfortunately the car experienced repeated issues which significantly disrupted our trip. The problems with the vehicle resulted in wasted holiday time, stress and additional costs for my family.
The biggest disappointment was not only the vehicle issues themselves, but the handling of the situation afterwards. The roadside assistance process was extremely frustrating, including problems accessing the correct support and delays in getting help when we needed it.
As a result, we lost valuable holiday time with our children and had to deal with a situation that should have been handled much better by a professional car hire company.
I submitted a formal complaint and provided supporting evidence, but despite multiple attempts to get a response, I have still not received a proper resolution.
I gave OK Mobility the opportunity to investigate and resolve this privately, but the lack of communication has been extremely disappointing.
I hope OK Mobility reviews how these situations are handled and improves its customer support process, as this experience has seriously affected my confidence in using the company again.
We have changed the drop off location…
We have changed the drop off location from Marseille to Nice. Costs 180-250€ we were told. Now we got charged exactly 500,00 EUR with no further explanation nor invoice. Did not receive any call as promised. Can't reach no one as there is no support. At the drop off i needed to explain every smalll scratch with an image. At the pickup i was explained 5-10 min why the large insurance is a must... really annoying rental tricks. Can't recommend.

Beware this company especially if you are African, they will shift your special offer to premium rate and load the insurance and block 2000 on your credit card. I have never known such an incompetent supervisor or such incompetent staff. The whole operation is a rip off and violates Spanish law in their practices
Definitely not “OK” - Horrible experience
Horrible experience - forced additional payments and ignoring from Customer service.
We had a really unpleasant experience with Ok mobility.
First they forced us to pay for an insurance (OK Premium Cover), which they said was mandatory, but a day after we found it was not mandatory. From the start, we told them, that we already had an insurance, but they told us that we still need to pay that.
When we got back the day after to find an alternative (for example pay higher deposit but get back the rest of the insurance money), we were ignored only with words “You already signed the contract, it cant be changed”. Not a single emotion of understanding.
We also had another problem - the keys from the car started not to work. The battery inside was almost dead. We tried to contact customer support. Nobody answered us. No one called back… yes, “premium cover”.
We also contacted the customer support the day after we got the car because of the forced insurance. It has been more than a week and nobody answered us. They sent us more than five mail advertisements but no answer for these problems.
We really recommend to choose other car rental companies.

AVOID. OK Mobility charged me €490.88 for damage to the front-left wheel that was PRE-EXISTING: I had filmed it in 4K, time-stamped and geolocated, BEFORE even taking the car (OK LIS station, Lisbon, June 2026), and it was NOT among the damages listed on the contract.
Faced with objective evidence, the company acted in blatant bad faith and with a complete lack of professionalism: five successive refusals, a demand to send a 549 MB video "by email only" (technically impossible), then my time-stamp and GPS metadata dismissed as "mere personal opinions". A practice that feels like abusive charging on the deposit.
Proceedings are ONGOING: European Consumer Centre, the French DGCCRF, the group's ethics & compliance channel, and court action in preparation. I am open to forming a COLLECTIVE with other customers hit by the same practice to pursue the complaint together.
Tip: film the entire vehicle at pick-up AND at return, with the timestamp on.

Uma prática que parece uma cobrança abusiva sobre a caução.

Ok Mobility, lisboa. VERY long waiting time both for the shuttle and in the office. After 45 min wait at the airport we entered an office with only 1 employee and 7 empty cashiers. The girl at the counter tried,but was also slow in explaining all the terms and trying to sell extra insurance like they always do. Would not recommend this company and the lisbon pick-up. Bsdly organized. We ended with a 2 hour car pick up. That is not how you want to spend your holiday!

This company is pure fraud. They change the terms on the spot, double the deposit, suddenly “block” your credit card, and then force you to buy a ridiculous €550 insurance on a €290 rental. Every customer gets systematically scammed.

Pick up time was 9 got there at 11.30 was then told by a extremely rude staff member that it’s not their fault and that I’ll have to pay all but the whole hire amount again (£122). He said we have had to stay late so there’s a fine. Wouldn’t mind when I got back home I went back on the website and I could book a car to be picked up at 11.30. Absolute rip off, tried emailing customer service to complain! All I got was sorry but if u do use us again use this discount code! Yeah right😡 piss poor company one big SCAM.
