Avoid HelloCleaners if you value professionalism, reliability, or customer service. This was, without question, the WORST SERVICE EXPERIENCE I have ever had. I wouldn't even give 1 star for their service.

I booked a deep cleaning service while I was in the hospital for the delivery of my baby so that I could return home to a clean apartment. Instead, what I got was stress, arguments, harassment for payment, an incomplete cleaning, and a company that has completely ignored my multiple requests for a resolution.

The experience started to go downhill almost immediately.

The contractor Hello Cleaners assigned to my apartment and Hello Cleaners themselves started arguing over who I should pay. The contractor insisted that Hello Cleaners had not paid him for previous jobs and demanded that I pay him directly. Hello Cleaners claimed they had already paid him and insisted payment should go through them.

Imagine being in the hospital after the birth of your baby and having to conference a call between the cleaning company and their contractor while they argued with each other over payment for more than an hour. I was literally trying to coordinate payment logistics between the two parties while at the hospital. I have never experienced anything remotely close to this with any service provider.

Eventually, the contractor repeatedly called me and pressured me into sending him $392 through Zelle in the middle of the cleaning before he would continue working. I felt I had no choice because otherwise he was threatening not to finish the job which he started.

No reputable cleaning company should ever put a customer in this position.

To make matters worse, around 5:30 PM the contractor announced that his time was up and refused to complete the remaining work and left. Completely unprofessional.

After I returned home from the hospital, I inspected the apartment and found that a significant portion of the deep cleaning service had either not been done at all or was done extremely poorly. Among the items that were missed or barely touched were:

• Blinds throughout the apartment were not dusted or cleaned.
• TV and TV stand surfaces were not cleaned.
• Cobwebs in the kitchen ceilings/corners were not removed.
• Light switches were not disinfected or cleaned properly.
• Carpet vacuuming was incomplete; dust and debris remain visible.
• The shower cabin/tub was not properly cleaned; water marks remain.
• Bathroom cabinets were not cleaned inside.
• Bathroom tiles and grout were not cleaned or descaled.
• Sink cleaning and polishing were incomplete.
• Kitchen doors and floors still have visible marks and dirt.
• Cobwebs in additional kitchen areas remain untouched.
• Behind and underneath the appliances were not touched.
• Appliances were not cleaned internally as promised:
• Refrigerator
• Dishwasher
• Washing machine
• Tumble dryer
• Cooker top
• Carpet deep cleaning was not properly completed.
• Certain floor areas were intentionally skipped despite being accessible.

We had to finish cleaning parts of the apartment ourselves because the contractor simply refused to do them.

The most disappointing part has been what happened afterward.

I documented everything with photographs and sent HelloCleaners a detailed complaint requesting a full refund. I have now sent multiple follow-up emails and have received no response whatsoever. Not even the courtesy of acknowledging my complaint.

This tells me everything I need to know about how HelloCleaners treats its customers once they've been paid.

I chose HelloCleaners because I expected a professional company that stands behind its services. Instead, I was left dealing with disputes between the company and its contractor, pressured into paying during the middle of the job, given an incomplete cleaning, and then completely ignored when I tried to resolve the issue.

This experience took place during the most precious time in our lives and instead of reducing our stress, HelloCleaners added significantly to it.

I sincerely hope no one else has to go through what my family experienced. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend HelloCleaners to anyone.

We booked Hello Cleaners a month in advanced to secure our Move In cleaning and deep carpet cleaning. We are moving from out of town so we wanted to make sure that everything was planned accordingly and we can make sure that we are there and coordinate other appointments for our new house.
I checked in 4 days before to make sure we are all set and they confirmed the time and date.
10 minutes before they were supposed to arrive I received a call they double booked and they were not going to come until 3 hours later. That was the first issue as we scheduled other appointments that day and cause a lot of issues.
Then as they were cleaning they told me anything with a door closed was all completed. I went to check and only half of the room was cleaned in EVERY room. Vents had dust in them. Walls were dirty. Showers were NOT touched. Whole rooms were not even touched but the door was closed.
I had them go back multiple times to tell them to clean areas. No one was checking
The cleaning was $1000 and was not worth it.
I would NOT recommend.

Book HelloClean the day before I needed our rental cleaned out. They were amazing and did such a great job. It looked like new. Would recommend.

What was quoted was NOT what was completed. We were told a team was coming all day to complete the full top to bottom clean. One worker and a helper showed up 2 hours early, did not finish and stole from my parents They actually tried to cash their checks. When we notify management they were not accountable. They DO NOT do back ground checks on their cleaning help.

If I could leave less than 1 star I would !!!
They sent contractors out that did nothing!

The team they sent to my new house for a move in clean lied about cleaning anything (they wiped down the kitchen island and a couple surfaces and that’s it) and did not do the detailed cleaning they were paid for.

When I addressed the issue with Hellocleaners they offered a small discount (less than $90 off the 600+ bill) or to have the same team come back and « redo » the cleaning they didn’t do in the first place.

Do yourself a favor and hire a local company to you and don’t use Hellocleaners.

I’m 8 months pregnant, physically unable to do the job myself and am now out over $500 for nothing!

I had an excellent experience with this cleaning company and would highly recommend their services. From the very beginning, they were incredibly easy to communicate with. They were responsive, clear, and professional in all interactions, which made the entire process smooth and stress-free.
One thing that really stood out was their awareness and respect for time zone differences. Unlike many other service providers I’ve dealt with, they made a genuine effort to communicate at appropriate times, which I greatly appreciated.
Their approach was also very transparent, they provided a clear, itemized breakdown of the services, so I knew exactly what I was paying for. Throughout the process, they shared photos showing the progress and results, which gave me confidence in the quality of their work even before seeing it in person.
On top of all that, the service was great value for money. The results exceeded my expectations, and the level of professionalism and attention to detail was impressive.
Overall, a reliable, communicative, and high-quality service, definitely a company I would use again.

They moved and then cancelled my service 2 times the day of the appointment, hours after they were supposed to arrive. The subcontractor kept my money I paid upfront despite the service not being completed and the invoices for the services say they are “past due” even though no one ever came to my apartment to clean. THIS IS A SCAM, DONT PAY THEM A CENT!!!

This was a complete waste of money. First, the cleaning service didn’t show up on the confirmed day and time and no one from Hello Cleaners LLC contacted me. After I called them, they rescheduled for the next day. The cleaning team arrived late. Again, Hello Cleaners LLC did not contact me.

Two people came to do a deep clean which cost me over $500. It is completely inappropriate to send two people for a full house deep clean. The tasks listed in the quote were not completed. The toilets were not cleaned. None of the kitchen cabinets, countertops or backsplash were cleaned. None of the windows were wiped. All the surfaces had dusty spots. The entire house needed to be vacuumed again as soon as they left. They did not complete a deep clean. I am extremely dissatisfied. I will never use this company again and would never recommend them.
