This company is a SCAM

This company is a SCAM. Do NOT go near it! You make what you think is a 'one off' purchase of 2.90 euros for a vehicle history. At the time of payment they do not tell you that you have subscribed to a monthly subscription of 29.90 a month. Your card details are then saved without you approving permission. And only once I made the payment did I receive an email to say I was signed up to a montly plan. In my opinion, the complete lack on transparency about what you are paying for is a complete scam.

Kurewski scam

FullCarHistory uses a misleading subscription model. The offer suggests a one-time vehicle history report for €2.90, but after payment it turns out that a recurring monthly subscription of €29.99 is automatically activated. The information about recurring charges is not clearly presented at the moment of purchase.

After noticing the charge, the subscription was cancelled immediately, but the company refused a refund.

Hello,

We are sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations. However, we do not agree with the characterisation of our service as a scam.

The €2.90 offer provides access to a first vehicle report during a trial period. Unless cancelled before the end of that period, it is followed by a monthly subscription of €29.90, which includes 2 additional report credits per month.

The offer terms, subscription price, renewal conditions and cancellation options are displayed on the payment page before the order is confirmed. They are also communicated in the information emails sent after registration, before renewal and at the time of billing.

The subscription was therefore not activated without information. Cancellation stops future renewals, while the report credits included in the already activated billing period remain available in the customer account.

Refund requests are reviewed individually according to the circumstances of each account and the service usage.

Kind regards,
The FullCarHistory Team

I used their £2.90 trial what a con

I used their £2.90 trial. However it did not find the VIN that I searched for. I cancelled the repeat payment well before the end of the 'trial' I did not receive a cancellation confirmation email and guess what they scammed me for £25. I'll try to recover through the credit card company. I could kick myself as I knew this fraud would happen. Avoid!

Hello,

We are sorry to read that your experience did not meet your expectations. However, we do not agree with the characterisation of our service as a scam.

The £2.90 trial provides access to an initial vehicle report. Where a VIN cannot be identified or where certain data is unavailable, the information returned depends on the data sources available for that specific vehicle.

The trial is followed by a monthly subscription only if it is not cancelled before the end of the trial period. The subscription terms, price, renewal conditions and cancellation options are displayed on the payment page before the order is confirmed.

A cancellation stops future renewals. If you believe that a cancellation was submitted before the renewal date but a payment was still taken, this must be assessed against the account’s recorded subscription and cancellation information.

Kind regards,
The FullCarHistory Team

Automatically prolongs subscription

Automatically prolongs subscription. Service mostly aimed at unattentive users that will get caught after checking one car for a huge payment. No refunds, shitty support. Overall bad experience, better to avoid altogether.
