Overpriced and clunky. The interface is overly complicated for what it does, and the price tag doesn't justify the features. There are better, more affordable options out there.

The AI make really sucks

The AI make really sucks, it's like it is purposely doing things wrong so that you spent more credits / money. It's designed as a money machine. Support is rude, and not helpful or solution oriented at all. I cannot recommend figma at all

Bad business practices

Bad business practices, don't let you cancel. Please everyone else affected continue to report to the relevant authorities. What they are doing is illegal taking money without permission.

There is no native export of videos!!!

There is no native export, so you make your animations but you cannot export them as video or anything.

Who is that incompetent to make app like that.

Avoid this like a fire, waste of your time and energy.

The support team and the platform itself are terrible.

My ticket ID is #1979413. The support team and the platform itself are terrible.

Money was charged from my card without my authorization. I asked support to investigate the issue, but they do not seem willing to do anything. I also contacted my bank, and they told me that I need to resolve the matter directly with Figma.

However, Figma is not responding and has not provided any solution. This is absolutely unacceptable. It is shocking to see such a large company show so little regard for its customers.

Credits burned on Figma's own mistakes, no resolution

I really wanted to like Figma Make, but the AI credit system has been a frustrating experience. I burned through three allocations of credits while working on a single homepage, often using credits just to fix mistakes the AI introduced or retry prompts that didn't work.

Figma support initially acknowledged that my credit usage seemed higher than expected and escalated the issue but the final response was simply that credits are consumed even when generations fail, time out, or produce no visible output.

No credit refund was offered and the resolution was essentially to try different prompts or models. For a paid product, charging customers for failed generations and AI-created mistakes doesn't feel fair or sustainable. The technology is promising but the pricing model and support response left me disappointed.

Definately a sham of an application and company. The work that was provided was very shotty and very "standard jpeg" looking. When trying to cancel there is NO way to cancel on site I even emailed them to cancel and I have not heard back from them. Feel sorry for the investors and shareholders who went for the very inflated valuation they will soon learn its all worth nothing!

Very poor support and a lost business…

Very poor support and a lost business opportunity.

I contacted Figma because we were interested in moving our team to the Organisation plan. The main reasons were to access features such as domain control, SSO and better admin management.

I tried to get support through both the sales website portal and the support email, however, the response has been extremely poor. For a company selling higher-tier business plans, the lack of clear and timely support is very disappointing.

This has now cost Figma around UK£1,000 in potential revenue from us, as we will not be moving forward with the Organisation plan at this stage. Instead, we will be reviewing alternative products over the next year, including Claude Design and Adobe XD.

The product may be strong, however, the support experience has made it difficult to trust Figma as a business-critical platform for our team.

CREDIT UPDATE CYCLE

Be careful with Figma Weave and its subscription. If you don’t use 100% of your monthly credits, any remaining credits are lost when the next billing cycle starts and your balance is refreshed. This means you’ll be paying for the full subscription while forfeiting any credits you didn’t use that month. BE CAREFUL.

Figma Weave (formerly Weavy.ai) has…

Figma Weave (formerly Weavy.ai) has some of the shadiest billing practices I’ve ever seen.I’ve always respected Figma as a professional platform, but what they’re doing with Figma Weave is an absolute joke and pure corporate greed.Let me walk you through my experience. Around late April (between the 24th and 28th), they charged me for the subscription. Funny thing is, I had already hit cancel before that date, but because of their questionable processing, the money was gone anyway. I decided not to make a huge scene out of it initially because their Pro plan explicitly advertises a "3-month credit rollover." I thought, "Fine, at least I have 90 days to actually spend the media credits I was just forced to pay for."Fast forward to today. I log into my account to use my paid balance, and what do I see? Exactly 150 credits left. 150! They literally wiped out everything I bought and dropped me onto their free tier crumbs.Turns out, the moment your paid period ends, Figma Weave completely deletes your remaining balance. The promised "3-month rollover" is just a trap to keep you on the auto-renew hook. They steal your money, promise you a 3-month window to use what you paid for, and then perform a clean wipe of your assets the second you try to walk away. No pro-rated access, no warnings—just calculated theft of user balances.Figma, you bought Weavy to build "the next generation of creative tools," but instead, you brought bottom-tier subscription scams into your ecosystem. Watch your bank statements with these guys. They will double-charge you upon cancellation and then delete your paid credits the minute you stop paying them. Absolutely pathetic customer treatment.

Figma’s seat management and billing…

Figma’s seat management and billing system is incredibly frustrating and feels intentionally misleading.

Their system automatically accepts seat upgrades whenever there are open seats available. The problem is that if you accidentally add a new user thinking you still have 3+ seats available, Figma may have already automatically consumed those seats without any clear warning or approval from the account admin.

As the admin of the account, I did not receive a SINGLE email notification stating that my available seats had been automatically assigned or used up. Then the moment another user gets added, you suddenly get hit with additional seat charges.

When I raised this with support, the response was basically: “Sorry, you should have double-checked your seats.”

That’s not acceptable for an admin billing experience. Automatic seat allocation without clear notifications, confirmations, or warnings creates unnecessary surprise charges and puts all the responsibility on the customer.

Figma is a fantastic design tool, but their billing and seat management UX seriously needs improvement.

Scammy

Any company that charges for AI "credits" should be illegal. Every AI bot is going to make mistakes, and you'll bleed through your monthly credit limit just by asking Figma's bot to undo the dumb stuff it did without your say-so. Mine literally kept breaking the website I was building to the extent that it almost would've been easier to scrap everything and start again. Stack up on those credits, folks!

Honestly, how companies are free to operate like this is beyond me. Mark it down as yet another scam.

worst design software Ive ever tried

worst web design software Ive ever layed my hands upon. UI is confusing and unintuitive, you have to click over several buttons (with your mouse since there are no shortcuts, such as ctrl+z (which is a CRIME not to include)) which makes it incredibely hard and frustrating to use. every tool and function Figma offers is also hard, frustrating and unintuitive to use. to add salt to the wound, most of the positive reviews (4+ stars) on here are written either by AI or AI loving techbros that never touched a pencil in their life.

here are some things that are just bad about this software, all of them experienced in a 10 minute time window and under a supervision that was supposed to make trying Figma out a lot easier.
- ctrl+z doesnt work
- ctrl+g to group several objects groups everything BUT or WITH the selected objects.
- just mere object selecting is a pain in the back to do.
- size of text cannot be changed by any usual means as in any other design softwares.
- panel with layers is confusing as hell. Im constantly getting lost in it and I dont even have that much objects.
- to delete a SINGLE thing, you have to delete several PARTS of it.
- ctrl+c and ctrl+v to copy and paste stuff doesnt work.
- the software is just REFUSING to cooperate. its like its constantly resisting me and doing everything BUT what Im trying to do.

at this point, just avoid Figma. please. even Google slides is a lot easier and better to use that this. and before you call me out on ,,having a skill issue" and ,,being too harsh on a software I didnt even try to learn," Id like to say that graphic design is my hobby and I know how to use graphic softwares (affinity and alike), so I have a pretty good idea what Im talking about.

(and to prove my point earlier, I made what I was trying to do in Figma for an hour in google slides just under 4 minutes)
