P7S Universal Viewer download

P7S Universal Viewer v2.0.0 by ALMARFELD opens CMS/PKCS#7 containers, verifies each signature and extracts embedded content byte-for-byte. Detached signatures require the exact original file.

Free and MIT-licensed for Windows 10/11 x64. Install the EXE, or extract the whole portable ZIP and run P7SUniversalViewer.exe. No separate .NET runtime is needed. WebView2 is optional for PDF preview; it is not installed automatically.

Local processing, no uploads or telemetry. Integrity, certificate trust and dates are separate. Revocation and trusted timestamps are not verified. Integrity does not establish legal validity or file safety.

Binaries are not Authenticode signed. Compare SHA-256 with the supplied checksums; do not disable Windows security. SourceForge mirrors v2.0.0; v1 files remain historical.
